Love Island villa sneak peek as it undergoes a huge makeover ahead of new series

The Sun Online's exclusive pictures show a dramatic makeover is underway at the property in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar on the East of Mallorca.

Parts of the set are still completely unfinished, but it won't be long until it's "everyone's type on paper."

As well as having an enormous pool and a veranda that stretches across the entire property, perfect for some outdoor beds, the villa also boasts an outdoor kitchen and a Jacuzzi.

Show bosses hope the new look after the construction work will make it the most luxurious villa yet.

Our photos show the seating area is being built ready for couples to hook up and be dumped in front of the famous fire pit.

Last year it saw Muggy Mike Thalassitis steal Olivia Attwood off Chris Hughes – before swiftly dumping her when they kissed behind his back.

After the third series' success, more than 100,000 people applied to be part of the show – with Caroline boasting they're the most attractive group of men and women she'd ever seen.

That's why the pressure is on to make the villa the most glamorous it's ever been.

On top of this year's contestants, bosses have 45 wannabes on standby to make an appearance throughout the series.

And there could be a return from some old islanders who will come back for double dates, as The Sun Online revealed.

Love Island bad boy Theo Campbell this week hinted he's planning to head back to the villa – and wants to find true love this time around.

Caroline Flack is back as the host with fan favourite Iain Sterling primed to voice the series again following their Bafta win on Sunday night.

A brand new teaser clip was released last night featuring fans' favourite sayings from the show.

Dressed as a pilot in the new trailer, Caroline said: "Welcome to this non-stop flight to Love Island.

"Please may we have your full attention for the following safety announcement."

Voiceover Iain added: "Please ensure all loose items are stowed immediately.

"Due to muggy conditions, turbulence is to be expected so your seatbelt should remain buckled at all times."

Series four will run over eight weeks and it's thought it will start on June 4, meaning fans of the hit ITV2 show don't have long to wait.

Famous faces including Danny Dyer's daughter Dani, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Taylor Ward and ex-Islander Gabby Allen's brother Ethan are all rumoured to be among the new contestants.
