Love Island’s Rosie Williams defends THAT ‘cringeworthy’ photoshoot with Megan and says all that matters is she looked ‘hot’

The lawyer, 26, posed in lacy panties and a see through kaftan with close pal Megan in an attempt to make her ex-partner Adam Collard jealous after he ended their romance.

Hours after leaving the villa she told The Sun: “People can say it was cringe but secretly they have done it themselves.

“We had fun and apparently we looked hot and that’s all that matters. It was amazing, it was so much fun, and it definitely lifted me.

“In real life I would upload a smoking photo and hope he would see it but we just thought we would do it in front of his face.

“Megan and I would call each other the blonde and brunette dream team and they sent in a new blonde and brunette and we were just making our mark.”

Rosie was dumped from the villa tonight after partner Adam chose to couple up with Zara and new arrival Sam picked to be with Samira.

Lawyer Rosie had an emotional journey on the show after Adam smirked in her face as she wept this week following the end of their romance.

Adam was accused by Women’s Aid of “emotionally abusing” Rosie – with the charity warning there were “clear warning signs in his behaviour.”

But Rosie disagrees that his actions were abusive and instead believes the 22-year-old still has a lot to learn when it comes to matters of the opposite sex.

She said: “I wouldn’t want to label Adam abusive.

“He’s only 22 and has a lot of growing up to do, he needs to mature a lot when it comes to women, and he is still trying to find himself. He doesn’t know how to handle things in the right way

“I just hope he can grow up sooner rather than later because I wouldn’t want another girl to go through what I went through.

“Age is never excuse but at the same time I’m 26 and from my entire life I am always living and learning and he probably has a bit more learning to do and less living.”

The former pair even managed to settle their differences prior to Rosie’s departure – as Adam finally said sorry for his wrongdoings.

But Rosie says his apology wasn’t enough after she was subjected to days of him “parading” Zara around the villa in front of her.

She said: “In the morning he apologised for upsetting me. We just hugged it out.

“He did say sorry but it was too little too late. I told Megan and she said ‘well I’m glad its five days too late.’

“It was really, really hard. When it all ended and he was parading Zara around the villa in front of my face then it was very difficult.

“You can’t deal with things in there as you would the outside – I would usually go out with my girls, turn off my phone, not speak to him but instead I had to sit there and watch him kiss another girl in front of me when he was doing exactly same with me a couple of days ago.”
