The athlete, who ruffled feathers as a latecomer in last summer's series, appeared to suggest he's going back for round two in a cryptic tweet today.
He wrote: "When I go on this time I'm actually going to try and find love."
It follows The Sun Online's revelation that show bosses have got 45 wannabe stars on standby for this year’s series, along with some very familiar faces.
It's thought fan favourites from last year's show could be among those on hand to spice up the fourth series.
The former islanders are set to come back for double dates with the new stars to make sure ratings are higher than ever this year.
It's thought that's why Theo is lined up to make an appearance in the new series.
But his confession about wanting to find love comes just weeks after he was seen on a date with Survival of the Fittest's Georgia Cole who licked ice cream off his face following a trip to the cinema.
Their romance appears to have cooled off as Theo focuses on a return to reality TV – despite him referring to his "girlfriend" in a tweet yesterday.
Last year the star was blasted by his former flame who claimed he dumped her just days before going into the villa.
Revealing plans to spice up the latest Love Island series, our insider said: “Love Island was all anyone talked about last year, so this series has got to top it.
“The record number of applicants means they’ve got this huge pool of talent to use.
“There have been lots of meetings and ideas are being banded around to see what they could do to make this year more exciting.
"There has been talk of bringing back some of the old cast for double dates with the new stars.
“Given how popular most of the cast were in the last series, it could be an amazing move. And it would be really popular with fans.”
Theo proved popular last summer when he became known as the bad boy of the villa.
He fell out with love rival Jonny Mitchell after picking his 'girlfriend' Tyla Carr to go on a date, before enjoying a three-way kiss with her and Montana in front of him.
Other sexy singletons rumoured to be on the show include Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani who was forced off Survival Of The Fittest after dislocating her shoulder.
Caroline Flack is back to host the show, with Iain Sterling returning to his role of voicing the series.
