The journalist and TV presenter, who is known for coming up with deals to save people money, opened his interview by explaining the benefits of top easy access easy savings accounts.
After giving details of various banks who are offering good rates, he issued a warning to viewers to check how much they’re earning with their current savings rate.
“Go and check what savings rate you are earning right now. Some of them are just down to 0.01%, or £1 per £1000 over a year.”
Moving on, Martin then explained how members of the public could face fines up to £1000 for not returning a Household Enquiry Form.

“They’ve started sending it out. It’s where they check you’re on the electoral roll. When you get it you have to check it an send it back.
“If you repeatedly fail to do that, you could be fined up to £1000 so keep your eye on that one at the moment.”
As his segment on the show came to an end, Martin shared details of his quick deals.
In order to get free cinema tickets for Cineworld and independent cinemas, Martin explained that all people had to do was to buy a packets of M&Ms and Maltesers.

He then went on to give out a code – AugustMS – which enables a !0% discount to be applied to national railcards including the 16-25 railcard.
While he didn’t mention the offer, it was revealed that make-up users could get £34 worth of No 7 products for the price of £9.
Meanwhile, Martin recently turned the air blue during an appearance on This Morning when he got annoyed by callers who remained with companies who continued to raise their prices.
He explained how “complaining about it and b******g about it doesn’t” help the situation.
