The This Morning hosts – who are taking over presenting duties for the rest of the week – were discussing a segment on body contouring coming up later on in the programme.
The new “tan-touring” kit is designed to “cheat your way to the beach” and allows the wearer to tan different parts of their body to create the illusion of a sun kissed body.
Ruth Langsford joked that she would use the new contour kit to give her husband Eamonn Holmes a six pack.
Her husband of almost seven years Eamonn Holmes retorted that he “has a six pack” but Ruth quickly fired back.

“I must have missed it,” she laughed.
Eamonn, 57, then joked: “See, that’s the sort of thing that could force me into an affair!
“Who would blame me?”
Of course, it was a reference to a conversation that had just taken place on the sofa with a couple who claimed that the husband’s six year affair saved their marriage.

Janet and Malcolm went on the show to talk about Malcolm’s long affair and the impact it had on their marriage.
Janet insisted this didn’t mean she become subservient and a “doormat”.
She explained: “It wasn’t so much I was bringing it up all the time. Well, I was but I wanted to know the ins and outs of everything and he obviously didn’t want to tell me.
“The hardest part is when you’re in bed and to get the images out of your head,

But Malcolm was quick to say that he doesn’t feel he has to constantly try and “prove” himself.
