The star was seen discussing Italian eating with the show’s hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
But This Morning viewers were left divided when Gino made a particularly controversial statement.
The bold remark came as the trio were seen discussing cooking for fussy eaters.
Not one to hold back, Gino claimed that children that are fussy eaters are the result of “stupid parents.”

Phillip and Holly were seen laughing at the comment as they looked visibly shocked.
Gino then further explained: “Parents don’t want to fight anymore, parents don’t want to say anymore – because the easiest thing for everyone to say is ‘oh you don’t want that? I’m going to give you something else.’
“Your house all of a sudden becomes a restaurant and that’s one thing I can’t get my head around.”
The This Morning hosts may have been taken aback but fans at home couldn’t get enough of Gino’s tough love.
Taking to social media, viewers were full of praise for the Italian star.
One posted on Twitter: “@thismorning watching Gino on catch up. He is so right, Parents need to take back control. My family have the same meal or go without!”

Earlier on This Morning, Phillip was forced to break up a very intense debate between two guests.
Paris Lee and Angela Spstein appeared on the show to discuss whether boys should be allowed to wear skirts to school.
The conversation quickly got heated and Phillip was seen pleading the guests to “talk about this sensibly.”
He later snapped when he caught Paris rolling her eyes while Angela was talking.
