Netflix’s Grace and Frankie is only getting better with age.
The sitcom, which stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as unlikely friends, has officially been picked up for a fifth season, according to a Netflix announcement on Wednesday (February 14).
The ladies will also be getting a new rival in season five, when RuPaul sashays his way onto the Emmy Award-nominated comedy series, as the quippy Benjamin Le Day.
Grace and Frankie had previously bolstered its cast of comedy heavy hitters for the most recent fourth season by adding Lisa Kudrow as the ladies’ lodger Sheree.
Kudrow famously worked with Grace and Frankie co-creator Marta Kauffman on her prior career-defining series Friends — which has itself recently been the subject of reunion speculation once again.
Grace and Frankie stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as long-time frenemies brought together when their husbands declare their love for each other after a decades-long affair.
The ensemble cast also includes Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen as the ladies’ former husbands, as well as June Diane Raphael, Baron Vaughn, Brooklyn Decker and Ethan Embry as their respective adult children.
Both ladies were recently nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2017 Emmy Awards, but the trophy ultimately went to Veep‘s Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Grace and Frankie‘s fourth season premiered on Netflix worldwide on Friday, January 19. Watch a trailer below:
