Paddy McGuinness was left singing ‘all by myself’ on tonight’s series finale of Take Me Out.
The 44-year-old TV presenter got emotional after contestant Steve got a blackout on the ITV dating show.
Viewers joked that Paddy, who belted out the Celine Dion classic, could be coming down the love lift himself next series.
Paddy is said to have temporarily moved out of his Cheshire base to give wife, Christine, much-needed space to contemplate their relationship.
The last episode of the series, which was filmed in advance, comes a week after he was seen socialising arm-in-arm with ex-All Saints star Nicole Appleton in central London.
According to reports, mother-of-three Christine feels "betrayed" by his behaviour and is unsure about their future.
Paddy, who usually tweets while his show airs, has remained silent on Twitter since last week’s episode.
But on the show he provided a shoulder to cry on for Steve from Luton, who got a blackout while dancing to a rodeo.
After throwing his cowboy hat in anger, Paddy said: "Steve let me tell you something my friend. Forget all of these, come and step into my saloon my friend for some Paddy love."
Take Me Out viewers took to Twitter to ask if Paddy will become a contestant.
One viewer said: "Do you think paddy will be coming down the lift next season after his wife divorces him?
"Looks like Paddy McGuinness will soon have to apply to go on his own show," added another.
A third asked: "Wonder if Paddy and Nicole are off to Fernandos !"
It was reported that Christine had begged her husband for space after the news broke on Sunday he had been spotted with Nicole.
A source told The Sun : “She has told him she needs some space and time to think about what to do next for the best.
“She wants him to leave for a couple of days. She wants to keep talking but needs a breather. She’s been totally devastated by the pictures.
“Christine feels distraught after giving up her life for him, even falling out with family members over him in the past. For him to publicly betray her is a step too far.”
However, Paddy’s rep has rubbished the claims, branding the story ‘incorrect.’
