Parks and Rec’s Leslie Knope and Burt Macklin are together again

We do love a good TV reunion, not least Parks and Recreation – especially after being off our screens for two years now.

Well, this week our Pawnee dreams came true as Leslie Knope, April Ludgate, Donna Meagle and Burt Macklin (aka Andy Dwyer) came together once again.

More specifically, stars Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, Retta and Chris Pratt, who grouped together for the premiere of Plaza’s new movie Ingrid Goes West.

Talk about supportive! Of course, all four’s careers have gone in pretty different directions since, so it’s good to know that no matter how successful they become, they still remember where they came from.

Poehler has starred in a number of big movies such as Inside Out, while Plaza has wowed us all in FX show Legion.

As for Retta, she has taken on a number of roles including a part in Netflix’s To the Bone, while Pratt… well, we all know what’s happened to him since.

Last month, Poehler and Plaza met up with fellow Parks and Rec stars Aziz Ansari and Rashida Jones.

The latter also presented the Leslie Knope actress with the Inspiration of the Year award at the Glamour Awards, Poehler saying: “Rashida, you are as wide of heart as you are thin of wrist.

“I’m very proud of how we celebrated the strength of female relationships on Parks and Recreation.”

“I’d like to think our characters of Leslie and Ann would spend their last days together in some kind of polyamorous situation that benefits both of them financially.”
