Coronation Street fans had better get the tissues ready for next week’s triple exit.
Three major characters will be leaving Weatherfield in the wake of Pat Phelan’s explosive demise.
Eileen Grimshaw, Nicola Rubinstein and baby Zack will all be moving away from the cobbles for a new life in Bristol.
This comes just days after another triple departure – with Anna and Faye Windass heading to Durham after Phelan’s death.
Gary Windass, who was rocked by the news of his sister and mum’s departure, is furious that his son is also being taken away.
Stunned Gary pleads with Nicola not to take his son away to the opposite end of the country.
Nicola assures Gary he’s welcome to visit Zack in Bristol whenever he wants.
There’s more sad news when Eileen announces that she is also going with Nicola and her sort-of grandson.
Tim and Steve throw a leaving part for their friend in the cab office.
Eileen feels sad to leave but knows it’s time to get away from her dark past.
There’s one small matter to sort out before she leaves – what will happen to her house.
Eileen tells Seb he’ll have to find somewhere else to live as she’s renting the house out and moving to Bristol.
Sensing that poor Seb hasn’t anywhere to live, Eileen tells him he can stay at No.11 until she finds a tenant.
But as soon as Eileen and Nicola have gone trouble strikes as Seb’s mum Abi invites herself to stay.
She pretends to be Eileen when the letting agent calls round and claims the house if now off the market.
Is this really the end for Eileen on Corrie?
