Horror fans, gird your loins and grab some pillows big enough to cover your eyes five times over, because it looks like a new horror movie crossover is on the horizon.
Potentially promising double the terror and double the fun is a Blumhouse Productions crossover featuring Sinister and Insidious, because those films weren’t scary enough on their own.
Blumhouse creator and horror buff Jason Blum revealed in a recent interview with CinePOP that he’s hopeful for a crossover starring the many terrifying Insidious demons and Mr Boogie.
And yes, we are already nope-ing hard at this one.

When asked about the potential for a shared Blumhouse universe, Jason revealed: “I hope so. I want to. We almost did Insidious and Sinister and I still feel like we might do that… I think we’re going to cross our worlds at some point.”
He added: “I don’t know how yet but we’re gonna try.” With added nightmares, we expect.
If you’d rather not watch a Sinister/Insidious lovechild, then you can always settle for the fourth Insidious outing, The Last Key, which is out in UK cinemas tomorrow (January 12).
The latest film from James Wan’s super successful horror franchise follows parapsychologist Elisa Rainier once again, proving that death perhaps isn’t so permanent after all.
