We finally have our first teaser trailer for Stranger Things season three, though it’s not in the usual format – it’s a commercial for a new Mall in Hawkins.
So 80s it’ll make your eyes water, the trailer shows teenagers kissing and a cameo from a new ice cream scooper, Steve!
He’s joined by co-worker Robin, giving us our first look at the new character.
The trailer ends with ‘Coming next summer’ – we’ll have to wait another year for the Upside Down.
The ad promises stores like The Gap, Claire’s and Sam Goody as well as a food court for Hawkins so it can grow a "patriotic community."
The clip, which is 87 seconds long, also gives a peek at the setting for the next season.
With the Netflix show not returning until summer 2019 so we may have to wait a little bit until we get more news.
The production team for the show transformed Atlanta’s Gwinnett Place Mall into the Starcourt Mall we see in the trailer adding retro storefronts, neon lighting as well as a movie theatre and food court and an arcade.
The Mall also served as the ice rink in Margot Robbie’s movie I,Tonya.
Robin was described as "an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. Bored with her mundane day job, she just wants a little excitement in her life… and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins."
