Ore Oduba left BBC viewers infuriated during his guest appearance on It Takes Two as viewers vented over his chat with host Zoe Ball.

The 2016 Strictly Come Dancing champion joined Zoe on the sofa of the spin-off show to talk about the upcoming Blackpool special and to give his opinion on the remaining dancers and celebrities.

The handsome Ore, who is not a professional dancer, spoke about controversial head judge Shirley Ballas and her comments about Joe McFadden being a dark horse.

Ore disagreed with Shirley and claimed that Joe was actually a “bright horse” because of his recent strong performances and complicated routines.

The cheeky star also revealed that he had to take a cold shower after watching Alexandra Burke perform her sultry routine, before adding “And I usually take three [showers] a day.”

However, while he talked to Zoe about the stars and their chances of winning, viewers at home threatened to switch off.

One fan of the show tweeted: “Sorry but Ore drives me mad he’s so affected & conceited! #ItTakesTwo”.

Another wrote: “This Ore section on #ItTakesTwo is rubbish! @bbcstrictly it was a bad idea!”

“#ItTakesTwo not a good show tonight – wth !! what’s Ore doing on it  is he crying yet – then Clifton and her #timetoswitchoff,” fumed another.

It wasn’t all bad feedback, however, with some viewers throwing their support behind the segment and the people’s champion Ore.

“Is Ore’s Overview going to be a regular feature on #ItTakesTwo? It’s got a theme tune, so here’s hoping  @OreOduba”.

Someone else wrote: “Its great to see Ore back and love to see this become a regular feature on #ItTakesTwo.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
