The blonde beauty was close to the star and went to visit him at his Wentworth Estate just months before he tragically passed away.
She and the TV legend had a meeting that was “filled with love”, before Tess bid him farewell for the last time.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I told him: ‘I love you, Brucie.’
“And that was it. So I do feel I got to say what I wanted before, and you know, he was doing really well.”

The pair became close friends in 2004 after hosting Strictly Come Dancing together.
And Tess admits it is difficult to believe that Sir Bruce has died.
She explained: “Brucie was always so physically fit. He never complained of aches or pains.
“That’s why he was so wiry and slim because he was constantly moving and dancing and sharp as a tack.

Vernon Kay’s wife also admitted her children were close to the TV legend [Wenn]
“Mentally, that never left him. It’s hard to believe he’s gone.”
Vernon Kay’s wife also revealed that he was close to her daughters, too as she took her two-week-old daughter – at the time – Phoebe to meet him while she was on maternity leave during the second Strictly season.
She shared: “He held her in his arms, and it’s lovely because I’ve got pictures from every year of Strictly of Brucie with the girls. Each series we’d do a traditional picture at the end at the dress rehearsal. That’s so special.
“I feel so bloody lucky – what an honour. When I broke the news to the girls they were so upset.”
