The Circle added two new members and turned into Love Island out of nowhere

After Monday night’s shock double blocking of Christopher and Aiden, The Circle was looking a little bit empty.

But on Tuesday (September 25), two new players joined – and one of them has already livened things up considerably.

Still, before we get to them, viewers have seen Genelle and Dan form a bit of a bond over the past couple of episodes, with Genelle even confiding in him that she has her baby daughter with her.

On Tuesday, the pair’s relationship seemed to take a more flirtatious turn, with Dan telling Genelle that she “wasn’t bad to look at”.

At first, Dan’s flirty comment didn’t seem to be very significant – after all, this is The Circle, not Love Island.

But everything changed when two new players entered: Scotty and Hannah.

Scotty is a black cab driver who the girls (and Freddie) took an instant liking to.

While Hannah is 27 years old, single and ready to mingle.

But it wasn’t long after the introductions that things started to get mega awkward, when it seemed Hannah might be interested in getting to know Dan a little better.

This caused Genelle to invite Hannah to a private chat, where she basically told her to back off Dan, as she and him were “trying to get to know each other on a more personal level”.

And just like that, The Circle became Love Island.

But many viewers were pretty shocked that things had escalated so quickly – Genelle and Dan only began flirting in the morning and Hannah had only just arrived!

Of course, they were totally here for the drama.

With Hannah saying she’ll “do what she wants” and Genelle not holding back, it looks like The Circle just got even more dramatic.

If only Dan knew how popular he really was!

The Circle continues on Channel 4 tonight (September 26) at 10pm.
