If you follow Chandler Riggs, the actor who plays Carl Grimes on The Walking Dead, then you’ll know that he is incredibly sassy on social media.
Fresh rumours that Carl could die in season eight prompted Riggs to poke fun at the yearly suspicions that his character will be killed off – by tweeting articles from The Guardian, MTV and some other entertainment website that we’ve never heard of…
“lmao y’all think i’m getting killed off every year,” he wrote.

In our defence, we just wrote about the speculation that was going around and said we didn’t actually think Carl would be getting the chop.
To be honest, we wouldn’t be surprised if he turned out to be the only character left alive by the end of the show, just to troll everyone.
A fan-favourite character did die in the latest episode of season eight, with one of the remaining cast members calling the departed character, “the embodiment of rare beauty in this dark, apocalyptic world.”
As well as leaving us all emotional, the latest The Walking Dead left us with plenty of questions and theories about what’s to come, and you can read them all here.
The Walking Dead airs Sunday on AMC in the US, with FOX and NOW TV airing the show a day later in the UK.
