It must be crazy for the Stranger Things cast to think how much their lives have changed since the little Netflix show they got cast in blew up and became a phenomenon.
This video not only shows the original auditions of television’s most famous group of kids, but also some of their reactions to seeing their younger selves, completely unaware of the fame and success that lay before them.
It’s quite adorable, really.

In more audition news, actor Joe Keery revealed that he originally went for the role of Jonathan Byers, but his first tape didn’t really impress the show’s creators.
Luckily for him, he then went for the part of Steve Harrington and totally nailed it.
If you’ve ever wondered what the Stranger Things kids would be doing if they lived in 2017 (and in a certain case, were alive #Justice4Barb) then some clever artists have come up with just that.
Strangers Things season two debuted on Netflix at the end of October, and while the streaming provider doesn’t release data on how many people are watching what, a market research company estimates that 15.8 million people in the US watched it within its first three days.
And that’s not even including phones or tablets.
