Who is Melissa George?

Melissa George, 42, was born in Perth, Australia.

She is a former roller-skating champion and won silver at the Junior World Championship in 1991.

In her teens she also worked as a model and was named Western Australia's Teenage Model Of The Year in 1992.

Melissa has two sons, Solal and Raphael, from her ex Jean David Blanc, the founder of AlloCiné.

When was Melissa George in Home and Away?

Melissa landed the role of Angel Parrish in Home and Away in 1993.

She arrived on the show as a teenage runaway and had an on-screen relationship with Shane Parrish.

They became one of the soap's most-loved couples of all time.

Melissa left the role in 1996.

What else has Melissa George starred in?

After locating to the US, Melissa made her film debut in the 1998 neo-noir sci-fi film Dark City.

Her first starring role in a feature film was as Kathy Lutz in the 2005 remake of Amityville Horror.

She also starred alongside Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston in Derailed, and was in two episodes of Friends as Molly.
