Boy, 3, found after he went missing from shopping centre

A three-year-old boy who went missing from a shopping centre in London has been found following an urgent police appeal.

Abdullah Mohammed from Harrow was located in a lift in the shopping centre at 5.25pm by officers who report that he is safe and well.

The little boy had been playing football in a children’s area at the London Designer Outlet shopping centre in Wembley Park Boulevard when he disappeared.

An urgent appeal for information on his whereabouts was launched and CCTV footage from the shopping centre was examined.

ultiple officers descended on the scene to carry out an extensive search in the centre and in the surrounding areas and a National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter also assisted in the search.

Brent Police thanked the public for their help with the search for Abdullah.

He was described as a light-skinned Arabic boy wearing a green coat with a fluffy hood, a black jumper with white stripes and blue jeans with blue trainers.

Police were alerted that the child was missing at 3.23pm but announced this evening that he has been found.
