TWO burly neighbours who got into a bust-up over an overhanging tree branch were caught fighting on CCTV.
Builder John Foster, 36, who already has a string of violent convictions, was filmed battering his neighbour's boyfriend Stephen Walker, outside his home in Kinmel Bay.
Mold Crown Court heard Mr Walker had been cutting the branches with his friend Samuel Roberts, at the request of Mr Walker's partner.
But the moment Foster arrived at the property with his employee Liam Williams, 34, he launched a barrage of punches on Mr Walker – and did not stop until they fell over a wall.
Williams joined in the fight, trying to stamp and kick Mr Walker's head.
Mr Roberts tried to intervene but Mr Williams threw a brick at his arm, and damaged Mr Walker's truck.
Prosecuting barrister Anna Price said that Mr Walker suffered a triple fracture to the left orbital floor and needed surgery, together with other injuries.
Foster escaped immediate imprisonment and was ordered to pay Mr Walker £3,500 in compensation and £750 in prosecution costs.
He and Williams both received a 22-month prison sentence suspended for two years and were placed on rehabilitation.
