Celebrities tweeted up a storm over James Comey’s three-hour testimony before Congress on Thursday.
“#disturbing,” Alyssa Milano tweeted 15 minutes into Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
The “Charmed” actress, who often voices her political views on social media, added, “Be a leader @marcorubio! This could have been your moment to shine. Instead, you are a puppet for a corrupt President.”
Author and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife Maria Shriver took a more diplomatic approach.
“As James Comey speaks, let’s give him his moment. Try to listen and decide for yourself what you think,” she tweeted.
“Scandal” star Kerry Washington simply wrote, “#Comey WOW.”
“Happy Days” actor and President Trump supporter Scott Baio pumped out a series of tweets, including one that said, “Comey admits giving his Memos to friend to disseminate to MSM, yet hasn’t given to Congress. WOW & he says it with straight face!”
Rosie O’Donnell, who has famously feuded with Trump, sympathized with Comey.
“donald defamed comey – he defamed me – he’s trying 2 defame #OBAMACARE – calling it a death spiral” – a BLATANT LIE – don’t believe him EVER,” she wrote.
