ONE of the original Disney Mouseketeers Doreen Tracey has died at the age of 74.
The child star had been battling cancer for two years.
A Disney publicist said she passed away this week after developing pneumonia.
Tracey rose to fame at 12 years old as one of the child stars of The Mickey Mouse Club, which aired between 1955 and 1959.
Paying tribute to his fellow Mouseketeer Tommy Cole said: "Our Dodo, as we lovingly nicknamed her, always had a smile on her face.
"She never failed to make us all feel good and we will miss her."
Tracey famously posed nude for Gallery magazine in 1976. It led to her being axed by Disney.
She admitted she regretted the photo shoot, telling The Times: "You get caught up in your own ego, not paying attention, not seeing the full repercussions."
The rebellious star called herself the "black sheep" of the Disney show.
She eventually made up with show bosses and became a regular at Mousketeers reunions.
She last celebrated the show’s 60th Anniversary in 2015.
After The Mickey Mouse Club ended, Tracey appeared as a guest star in American TV shows before becoming a publicist for musician Frank Zappa.
Doreen is survived by her son Bradley and her grandchildren Gavin and Autumn.
