A bizarre video appearing to show a Lidl worker strike a man with a leg of pork is being investigated by the supermarket chain.
In the footage, which was filmed in Nottingham Road, Derby, the man in Lidl uniform chases after a cyclist.
The man who is chasing him appears to be holding a leg of pork and swings it at the cyclist several times.
It is not known what caused the incident.
It was uploaded to Facebook by Kiefer Bateman early on Sunday morning and has been watched at least 19,000 times, reports the Derby Telegraph .
The landscape engineer, 23, said he was in the right place at the right time to capture the incident.
He said was "a bit surprised" at how many times the video had been watched.
Mr Bateman, from Chaddesden, said he believed the police had been called in connection with the incident.
Mirror Online has contacted Derbyshire Police for comment.
A spokesman for Lidl told the Derby Telegraph: "Upon being notified of this incident, we immediately launched a full internal investigation."
