Mailman allegedly threatened with a hammer, robbed by duo

A man was arrested after he pushed a Brooklyn mail carrier and swiped his packages — while an accomplice threatened him with a hammer, police sources said Saturday.

The 33-year-old postal worker was making a delivery to a home on St. Marks Place near Third Avenue in Boerum Hill around 2 p.m. on Friday when the two started grabbing packages from his cart, the sources said.

When the worker confronted them, Wyatt Joyce, 21, allegedly pushed him out of the way.

His accomplice then menaced the worker with a hammer, saying, “Whatcha gonna do?” the sources said.

The pair then took off with three packages, according to the sources.

Joyce was arrested at the scene and charged with robbery and unlawful possession of pot, cops said. Police were looking for the man wielding the hammer.

The carrier was not injured.
