Man busted with stockpile of weapons after fight with girlfriend

Police found a large cache of guns, ammunition and bullet-proof vests while responding to a report of a domestic dispute in Brooklyn on Monday night, police said.

The large arsenal, which belonged to 49-year-old Raymond Quintero, also included silencers and a laser sight, officials said.

Police found the stockpile after Quintero’s 47-year-old girlfriend called 911 as they fought inside their Flatlands Ave. apartment in Canarsie around 10:30 p.m.

The woman told cops she came home to find several bullet holes in an apartment wall and several guns splayed out on the table.

Quintero fled the apartment with at least one of his guns before cops arrived on scene, where they found two semi-automatic pistols, four ballistic vests, two silencers, a laser sight and nearly 300 rounds of ammo, police said.

As the cops were interviewing the woman, Quintero returned to the scene and was arrested.

He was charged with a number of counts, including reckless endangerment, weapons possession and menacing.
