Can Kabadayi, 27, videoed the entire experience, from spying the dog on the road to the pooch’s touching reunion with his owner.
Can Kabadayi was driving out of London when he saw the white pooch darting up and down the M4 close to the central reservation.

The 27-year-old told of how the traffic ground to a halt on the road as people stopped to avoid hitting the hound.
Speaking to The Sun he said: “At first I thought there had been an accident so I was pressing the horn and thinking ‘come on guys drive, drive’.
“I’ve got a dog myself so I know how the owner must be feeling and I immediately thought ‘I’ve got to get him’.
“I got out the van and then he dodged me one way then dodged me the other.”
“Then I hopped back in my van because the dog was running ahead down the road.

He eventually tracked down the hound when it stopped outside a home, but not his own
“I followed him for a bit then I jumped back out to try and catch him but he ran so far back down the road that I couldn’t see him anymore.”
The pooch had darted off down a side road and but Can had resolved to find the dog and get him home.
Can turned off and drove down several side streets to before finding the escaped animal.
He added: “Then I jumped back in the van and I was just driving and looking for the dog.
“I went down one road and couldn’t find it, and then I reversed and went down another road and there it was.
“Then at that moment the video stops because I was chasing him for a good few minutes.”
“When I saw him stopped on the doorstep I thought this might be his house.”
The video shows a breathless and relieved Can hugging his new furry friend close after finally managing to bring him to safety.
After he tracked down Marley, he and Can had a sing song in his van on the way back to his owner’s house
When he was finally reunited with the owner she was so grateful she gave the 27-year-old actor a peck on the cheek
He strokes the little white pooch’s head and tells him he’s going to take him home before flipping the camera round and posing with “his new buddy”.
The Hackney native added: “Then I called the number on the collar and the owner was just over the moon.
“So I took him in the van and started playing songs with him and took him home.”

When they get back to the dog’s a woman in a blue top gasps and embraces and kisses Can relieved to be reunited with her “naughty” hound.
Can heartwarmingly revealed he was going to visit his new friend today as a birthday treat today.
