A man has turned Tesco’s irritating self-service checkout sounds into a banging dance track.
The unexpected tune was produced by Ben Suffield. The Leeds-based musician is making a name for himself. He’s played at the likes of Thekla in Bristol and Volks Brighton.
Ben, who correctly describes his work like this, "At the end of the day yeah I make donk music", has blended noises that usually make people want to cry and turned them into something beautiful.
The till beeps and bagging area commentary are somehow tuneful. "Please take your change" can be heard towards the end.
Ben posted his track on social media. It’s got some big love. Twitter user Dominique commented, "Absolute. BANGER," and a bloke called Charlie said: "I can’t stop listening to it".
Another said: "I would have died if they mentioned the word clubcard."
