A MUM claims an Argos doll she bought for her daughter's birthday SWEARS instead of saying "Mama".
Rachael Horton says she was stunned when she heard the doll apparently saying "you "b****" when her two-year-old opened her present.
The mum now claims her daughter, little Aria, is trying to copy the doll and swear herself.
She told the Birmingham Mail: "It was my daughter’s birthday on Tuesday but we were at Butlins so she didn’t open her presents until the weekend.
“When we took the doll out of the box and started playing with it, I couldn’t believe what we heard.
“She’s supposed to say “Mama” and “Papa” but instead she seems to be saying 'you b****'.
“I’m shocked, especially as it’s very clear what the doll is saying.”
The mum says she got in touch with Argos to complain and was told she could return and exchange the doll.
But Rachael thinks the product – bought for £34 – should be withdrawn incase other dolls have the same problem she says she has found.
She claims costumer services was unhelpful and said she had seen other reviews where parents thought the dolls they bought were also swearing.
One person wrote on the Argos website: "She sounds like she is swearing or talking in a foreign language.
"Returned as daughter was very disappointed on her birthday."
Argos has been approached for comment.
Earlier this year grandparents claimed a musical alphabet dog toy bought for their young granddaughter shouted out the F-word.
The shocked pair thought it sounded like the pup sings the swear word as part of a jolly educational song.
