Searching for the perfect home can take a very long time.
Whether you’re renting or buying, you’ll probably spend hours flicking through hundreds of photos of different homes.
The online advert for a one-bedroom flat in Elizabeth Bay in Australia is getting a lot of attention, but not because of it’s stylish decor and big windows.
Something in the kitchen is causing a lot of confusion, and people are baffled.
Can you spot it?
Look at the fridge.
The owners have put the tall fridge-freezer on top of the washing machine. Hmmm.
Now we understand that sometimes it can be tricky to fit everything into smaller rooms and you have to improvise a bit – but this seems like a logistical nightmare.
Apart from the bottom few shelves, how do they reach anything? And they must need a ladder to get anything out of the freezer.
Aside from the weird fridge location the apartment, which is being advertised on rent.com.au , looks rather lovely boasting an en-suite, a garage space and an intercom system.
The advert states: "Located in well maintained "Bayview" and only a short walk to the harbour foreshore and surrounding parks, transport, and Elizabeth Bay/Potts Point locale, this sun filled renovated one bedroom apartment is a must to inspect.
"Well proportioned living space with large floor to ceiling windows and pleasant leafy outlook, a quality near new separate kitchen with ample bench (Stone) and cupboard space, and fully renovated bathroom. Added bonus of a secure lock up garage."
It also lists great natural light and a "leafy outlook", ample storage and a newly renovated bathroom.
