THREE people have been killed and 45 injured after a horror bus crash in tourist hotspot Prague.
Five people have been rushed to hospital in a serious condition including two children placed in artificial comas after suffering major head injuries in the smash.
Rescue workers managed to free several passengers trapped in the bus after it collided with a car before slamming into a tree at around 4pm today.
Three people including the driver of a Skoda and two people on the bus were killed in the horror near Horomerice, which is around eight miles from Prague.
Police spokeswoman Monika Schindlova said: "The collision between a bus and a car killed three people, the driver of a Skoda and two people who were in the bus."
Rescue service spokeswoman Jana Postova added: "Two children sustained serious head injuries and were put on artificial ventilation and into artificial comas."
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
It comes after the driver of a bus carrying 40 Czech tourists was killed when it crashed in Italy in August last year.
The tragedy happened near the town of Bolzano when the bus swerved off the road and crashed into a field killing the driver on impact.
A further 20 tourists were taken to hospital for treatment.
