THIS is the shocking moment a baggage handler was caught rifling through a passenger's bag and stealing their possessions.
The 27-year-old was caught on camera by bosses at Phuket International Airport helping himself to the contents of a suitcase on a Jetstar flight to Singapore.
He was arrested and charged Airports of Thailand and Tourism police, who recovered a Bluetooth speaker, Phuket Gazette reports.
The worker was employed by third party baggage handling company BAGS.
A Jetstar spokesman told news.com.au it has launched an investigation into the incident.
“Jetstar is aware of a video circulating online and we are taking the matter very seriously,” the statement read.
“We have launched an immediate investigation and will work with Airports of Thailand, our ground handler BAGS and our local security company to ensure the security of our customers’ property on-board our flights.”
According to the spokesman, BAGS provides baggage services for around 90 airlines in Thailand.
