Twisted dad 'shot his teenage daughter's dogs dead as punishment for her not doing the dishes'

Jeffrey Don Edwards allegedly wanted to punish his 17-year-old daughter when he found the house was messy.

The 35-year-old, from Oklahoma City, is facing animal cruelty charges after police say the teen found her dogs missing on Wednesday.

An uncle is said to have told her Edwards shot them to teach her a lesson.

The dogs bodies were found about 100 yards from the house.

Edwards denies killing the dogs, and branded the accusation a "complete lie".

His ex wife Danielle Depee spoke of her children's reaction to the allegations, saying they "are devastated and in shock".

Depee, divorced from Edwards since 2007, said the couple’s 17-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son lived off-and-on with their father at his home, and that the dogs lived there, too.

Yesterday we reported on video footage showing a cop slap, punch and whip his teenage daughter with a belt after she “disrespected” a teacher.

Miami-Dade police officer Raymond Rosario, 44, was called to his 14-year-old daughter’s school after she was misbehaving during lessons.

CCTV footage at Pinecrest Cove Preparatory Academy in Miami showed him hitting her and he was later arrested on a child abuse charge following the incident on March 19.

And a teenager had three dramatic hairstyle changes in just a week – after a spat between her parents spiralled out of control.

But mum Christin Johnson says that Kelsey's dad made her get her long locks chopped off  as a punishment when she went to a visit him.
