A Queens Uber driver slit his cousin’s throat early Monday during an argument in the bedroom they shared, police said.
“I’m guilty, I’m the one who killed him,” Lubdeep Singh, 24, confessed, according to cops.
Lubdeep plunged a knife into the neck of cousin Sharnjit Singh after the two became embroiled in an argument in the bedroom they shared in Lubsdeep’s parent’s Ozone Park apartment around 2:30 a.m., according to police.
Sharnjit, who also drives for Uber, was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:27 a.m., cops said.
Police are still investigating what the two were arguing about.
“Sharnjit never complained about [Lubdeep],” said[Lubdeep]im’s girl[Lubdeep]ona Shiwmanjal.
“Whatever bothers him, he shares it with me, and he didn’t tell me anything about his guy.”
Sharnjit moved to the US about four years ago and lived in the apartment since arriving, according to landlord Sukhwinder Singh, no relation.
Lubdeep does not have a prior record, police said.
