Viewers of the hit BBC programme have suggested the Italian dancer, 33, will be "benched" by show bosses for 2024.

It comes as they speculate Giovanni Pernice will be the one to walk.

His 2023 show pairing came to an end when Amanda Abbington suddenly quit.

Sherlock actress Amanda, 49, missed a Strictly Come Dancing show in October due to undisclosed medical reasons – before she called time on the BBC series completely.

The Sun reported in September how Amanda and Giovanni had clashed — with the actress threatening to quit over the dance pro’s “militant” attitude to training.

A user on Reddit asked the question: "Strictly Professionals 2024 – who do you think will leave?"

One then replied: "Possibly Gio, having had two pretty disastrous series after his win with Rose.

"After what went down with Amanda, I imagine they might bench Gio or ask him to leave. Another pro could probably have made the situation work."

Another put: "Men = Gorka (to spend more time with family) and Giovanni (3 years in a row he skipped the Pro Challenge… his heart isn't in it any more)."

A third agreed and wrote: "I can see Gorka or Giovanni leaving. I think Neil might leave too."

One then mused: "Giovanni and Gorka were my other two question marks but I could see them staying for a few more seasons?"

A final fan claimed: "Giovanni is definitely checked out. I imagine he’ll stay in the hope of getting a good partner to exit on though."

Earlier this year, actress Amanda was alleged to have "not told" fan-favourite Giovanni of her decision to quit before she announced it, leaving him "devastated."

She then broke her silence after it was revealed she would be snubbing the show final – where celebs perform with their partners for one last time.

The BBC announced Amanda would not be returning for the final instalment in a statement last week.

A spokesperson for the show told OK!: "Amanda decided to withdraw from the competition, therefore she will not be returning for the final."

Nigel Harman also withdrew from the competition this series after sustaining an injury, but he attended.

Following her departure, Giovanni paid tribute to Amanda by sharing a picture of them cuddling in Christmas jumpers on Instagram.

He wrote: "I am so sad we can't continue but I am proud of what we achieved and I am sending you so much love."

But Amanda failed to mention of Giovanni in her statement after leaving for 'personal reasons'. leading fans to speculate there was a rift between them.

Alongside a snap of a pair of worn out dancing shoes, she posted on the social media site: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly.

"I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue.

"It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside.

Speaking to OK! in an exclusive chat, Ella said that she's still reeling from the end of her relationship with JJ Slater after the couple amicably parted ways in the final episode.

“The final vows were the hardest moment for me and at the time, I didn’t really know whether I wanted to leave him or just be friends,” she said, adding that her relationships on the show – which include first MAFS husband Nathaniel Valentino – left her "slightly traumatised".

“I think I’m still processing our break-up and our relationship.”

While Ella was originally matched with Nathaniel Valentino on E4's MAFS, their relationship didn't work out and she instead discovered a romantic spark with JJ Slater.

Now that her relationship with JJ is over, Ella revealed that she's still friends with the Essex-based fashion brand owner – but she's focusing on herself for now.

"I'm going to stay single for a bit and focus on my career, " she said. "I’ve realised I’m not ready for a relationship so I’m going to have a glow-up and go out with the girls.

“I’ve got a lot of healing to do from the show and a lot of work to do on myself that I didn’t realise until the show – I think that was clear from me watching it and people commenting on social media.”

Speaking about JJ, Ella said that they chat on the phone everyday.

“I wanted a boyfriend but I found an amazing best friend,” she beamed. “He’s just the most amazing soul and he’s changed my life for the better.

"He’s the first guy really who’s ever just accepted me and seen me as Ella. I was loved and accepted by a guy who usually I thought would not look at me twice, with him being an Essex boy and a real lads’ lad.”

My Life With the Walter Boys has been renewed for a second season after becoming a last-minute 2023 hit for streaming service Netflix.

The young adult drama follows 15-year-old Jackie Howard (played by Nikki Rodriguez), who moves from New York to rural Colorado after the tragic loss of her family.

There she meets the Walter family, including sporty Cole (Noah LaLonde) and bookish Alex (Ashby Gentry).

Based on the book by Ali Novak, the first season wraps up the events of the novel, but the Netflix adaptation is set to expand the story further.

Showrunner Melanie Halsall said: “I mean, the story is set in Silver Falls. Beyond that, I genuinely don’t know.”

And lead actress Rodriguez admitted she “can’t even imagine where season two would start.”

She told Deadline: “Jackie’s going through a lot and she has really big dreams and goals, and so I really hope for Jackie that she doesn’t get too off track and doesn’t get too distracted and just remember what she really wants.

“Ultimately, no one’s gonna look out for you the way that you would. So I think… her choosing herself is really important for people to see, and I kind of applaud Jackie for it to be honest.”

Whatever lies ahead for the Walter family, Netflix can bet on scoring another hit with the second season, as the first outing racked up 12 million views within its first week of release.

“Netflix is finally doing something right for once…” one viewer quipped.

“This show was so good,” another said. “Happy to know we’re getting season 2 after that ending.”

In her statement to Deadline, Halsall said: “It’s been incredible. Phenomenal, actually.

In next week's festive ballroom extravaganza, the pair will face Keisha Buchanan and Gorka Márquez, Tillie Amartey and Neil Jones, Dan Snow and Nadiya Bychkova, Jamie Borthwick and Nancy Xu, and Sally Nugent and Graziano Di Prima, as they each attempt to impress the panel of judges.

The 29 year old Polish pro revealed: "He can teach me to dance, he's got the moves. Danny understands my crazy," with the rugby player pointing out: "Maybe not the Cha Cha Cha, she can teach me that!"

The sportsman, 36, went on to describe stepping into Jowita's world as a "blessing".

"For her to teach me some special moves, but also the humility and the grace that she works under, it's the essence of who she is. While being an absolute genius at what she does, it's so nice to be around. She's world class, but so humble."

Inevitably, Danny's famous 'Dougie' dance move from the rugby pitch cropped up in conversation.

"What people know me for is the Dougie, because when I was 22, I scored a try and did the Dougie afterwards. Now I do the Dougie everywhere I go because I like it and add bits to it. It's a good one to put smiles on faces!"

Let's hope he gets a chance to bust one out next week in the BBC ballroom.

Danny, who split from his wife-of-four-years Victoria Rose just last month, also explained why he feels "absolutely privileged" to be taking part in this year's Christmas Strictly.

"I feel absolutely privileged that I get the opportunity to learn a dance with professional dancers who are experts in their role, and I get coached by them, to get to a level where I feel happy enough to go out and perform it to an audience," he said.

"It's been an amazing experience. It was something that I definitely wouldn’t have done years ago. But I was with my friend and they said, 'You have to do it, you love to dance'. I felt it in my chest that it was the right thing to do, so I committed to that and felt like I wanted to do it, so I said yes."

When his involvement was first announced, Danny admitted he'd "always enjoyed the concept" of Strictly, but it wasn't something he ever envisioned himself actually doing.

"After addressing my own ideas and beliefs, I am very much looking forward to expressing myself through dance with no limitations. Strictly brings joy to everyone's living rooms, being a part of that for Christmas Day will be special," he commented.

Meanwhile, in the flagship show, last weekend's grand final saw Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola claim the Glitterball trophy, with Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell, and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin forced to go home empty-handed.

Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special airs Christmas Day on BBC One at 4.40pm.

In another snap, the mom of two showcased a second shelf painted in a light shade of pink.

It had the same butterfly decals on it.

On the top, the TV star showed off a massive purple crystal shaped like a mountain.

There was a pricy Louis Vuitton perfume and additional tea set pieces close by.

FAMILY DANCE PARTY

While she doesn't always show off her kids' spaces, she does frequently bring fans inside her home.

Khloe recently shared a video that showed her daughter True and her niece Dream having one of their signature dance parties inside the Good American founder's $17million mansion.

The Hulu star's son Tatum also made an appearance in the clip, dancing with his sister and cousin.

All three kids were dressed in holiday pajamas.

Tatum and True matched in clue pajamas with snowflakes on them while Rob Kardashian's daughter Dream rocked a red festive sleep ensemble.

Christmas music was blasting through the house and decorations, including a massive tree covered in white lights, could be seen behind the dancing.

At one point, True ran off to one side of the frame where she grabbed her cousin Dream and pulled her into view along with her.

Everyone appeared in good spirits as they danced together.

Khloe's caption read: "The MOST magical time of year!!! We are in the Christmas spirit in our Christmas pajamas and our Christmas dance moves."

She added several holiday emojis, including Christmas trees, Mrs. Claus, and Santa Claus.

Fans in the comments couldn't get enough of True and Dream's close bond.

Tasha wasn't the only one struck down by Paul's dodgy cooking however, with their co-stars Rozz Darlington and Thomas Kriaras eating the dodgy dish.

When asked which moments weren't aired on the show, Tasha said, "Paul can't cook. There was one night where Paul cooked spaghetti bolognese for me, Thomas and Rozz.

"It was an absolute mess and both me and Rozz got ill. It was honestly horrific," she laughed.

Tasha also added that she wished MAFS had aired scenes where she'd talked about diabetes as the reality star has Type 1 diabetes.

"I also wished they’d shown my diabetes because that played a massive part in mine and Paul’s relationship," she said. "It would have been really educational and a lot of people have reached out to met about it and wish it had been shown."

Paul added, "I thought I knew about diabetes but when I met her, I realised I knew less than nothing.

"You don't realise how much it affects a person – it affects her moods, how she acts, so much of your life is actually affected by diabetes."

Tasha and Paul took part in the most recent series of Married at First Sight and while they had their ups and downs, they're now planning on moving to Manchester together.

Speaking to OK!, Tasha said, "It’s just about finding the right time and the right place. We don’t want to rush into it or just move somewhere for the sake of it.

"I’m living in Leeds and Paul is living in London but the long distance has worked for us because we’re both busy. We still speak morning, noon and night, so it works."

Tasha became a fan favourite on the show, with some fans loving her facial expressions when reacting to MAFS drama.

When seeing Tasha and Paul react to co-stars Shona and Brad passionately kissing at the dinner table, one fan wrote, "Tasha's disgust face was exactly how I felt looool #MAFSUK."

In recent episodes, Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) has been helping sister Chloe (Jessie Elland) in staying away from the village and keeping baby Reuben from Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb).

Amy has refused to forgive Mack after he chose to save Charity and left Chloe to die after a horror car crash. But viewers are questioning her recent behaviour, given that she once killed a man.

In 2019, Amy and sister Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) accidentally caused a fire at the Sharma factory. Wanting to cover up robbing the safe, they sabotaged the CCTV equipment.

But after they left, a spark from the damaged electrics set the place alight and caused a huge blaze. When Frank Clayton (Michael Praed) rushed inside to retrieve the engagement ring meant for girlfriend Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye), he heard cries for help.

His daughter, Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), was trapped inside the store room of the burning building. Frank managed to knock down the door and pulled Tracy to safety.

But in the midst of the chaos, Frank realised he'd dropped the engagement ring and headed back into the blaze. The villagers were relieved when Frank finally emerged outside as he appeared unharmed, but their happiness was short lived.

The factory exploded, sending Frank flying full-force into the side of a van. With his daughters and girlfriend at his side, Frank was declared dead by paramedics. Amy and Kerry managed to escape prison by framing Frank for the fire.

Fans haven't forgotten this and have begged for the storyline to be revisited. One person shared on Reddit: "Amy's acting like this with Mackenzie but she's actually killed someone?"

Both Ellie and Vito began laughing at the question, with Ellie responding: "Honestly, we've just been having the most amazing time dancing, and we've built a really strong bond and a friendship that will last forever."

Vito went on to say he and Ellie "connected straight away" before adding: "We had that feeling that we'd known each other for a long time."

The Italian professional dancer also gushed: "Just so, so lucky to have you in my life," as he placed his arm around ex-Coronation Street actress Ellie.

Josie's co-host Craig Doyle was convinced Ellie and Vito were playing down their relationship, and exclaimed: "100% romance. I can see it!" as the pair fell about giggling.

Ellie and Vito's closeness on the BBC One series didn't go unnoticed by fans, from Vito telling to her to "eat me with your eyes" after a steamy Argentine Tango performance to a 'kiss' they shared at the end of another routine.

Sources have claimed the duo are an item, with one insider telling the Mirror: "Ellie and Vito have become so close that they're often seen all over each other, and the chemistry is striking. The rumour they're more than friends isn't openly discussed, but it's widely understood."

Meanwhile a pal of Ellie's revealed she and Vito were just friends initially, but as time went on things changed.

Ellie's pal said: "Initially, they were friendly but as the weeks went on, their relationship changed. Ellie has made it clear to friends how happy she is with Vito," as reported by the Mirror.

The UK has been installed as the favourite to win next year’s Eurovision Song Contest after unveiling pop star and actor Olly Alexander as our surprise entry.

The Years & Years singer announced he had been picked during the Strictly Come Dancing final on Saturday night.

Olly is perhaps best known as Ritchie Tozer in Channel 4 show It’s A Sin, for which he received a Bafta nomination.

BBC chiefs insist having such a popular artist represent the nation in Sweden next year proves everyone is taking the contest seriously.

Olly, 33, said: “I’ve loved watching Eurovision ever since I was a little kid and I’m beyond excited to be taking part next year.”

“I really can’t believe I’m going to be a part of such a special legacy and fly the flag for the UK. It shall be an honour.”

“I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got and put on an excellent and unforgettable performance.”

The UK last won in 1997 with Katrina and the Waves.

Bookmakers Coral yesterday made the UK 6-1 favourites to win in 2024.

Spokesman John Hill said: “Olly Alexander is a huge star around Europe and we think he gives the UK an excellent chance of winning Eurovision next year.”

Reacher welcomed actor Robert Patrick for season two and added a subtle reference to his movie Terminator 2 in the premiere.

The action-packed drama, based on the work of author Lee Child, returned for season two on Friday, December 15, with the first three episodes dropped on Prime Video.

This second outing introduced Shane Langston (played by Robert Patrick), a mysterious private defence contractor who is determined to see Jack Reacher (Alan Richson) and his team dead.

This isn’t the first time Langston has portrayed a villain either, having portrayed Ray Schenkel in Law and Order SVU, Colonel Merton in NCIS, the Skiptracer in Identity Thief and White Dragon in Peacemaker, just to name a few.

Most notably. Patrick was behind T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, a shapeshifting android whose mission was to assassinate Sarah (Linda Hamilton) and John Connor (Edward Furlong).

With the introduction of Patrick in the cast as Langston, creator Nick Santora couldn’t help but include a Terminator Easter Egg as a nod to the 65-year-old’s Hollywood past.

In the season two premiere ATM, Reacher and Frances Neagley check into a hotel under the aliases Starlin Castro and Sarah Connor respectively.

When Patrick’s Langston finds out about this, he says: “Starlin Castro played for the Yankees, six or seven years ago.”

But when his henchman questions who Sarah Connor is, Patrick’s character replies: “I don’t give a s**t.”

Sarah Connor, who is played by Linda Hamilton, stars in The Terminator franchise, having first appeared in the 1984 movie where she learns she is being hunted by a cyborg assassin.

She is targeted by the evil assassin from the future as her unborn son, John Connor, will one day save mankind from extinction by hostile artificial intelligence called Skynet.

It is then in the 1991 sequel, Judgement Day, that the mother-and-son duo are hunted once again, this time by the more advanced T-1000.

Subscribers couldn’t help but take to X, formerly Twitter, to point out the moment.

One viewer wrote: “Robert Patrick saying ‘I don’t give a s**t…’ after being asked who Sarah Connor was, is some gold star writing.”

Since February, fans have been trying to work out who would be killed off by one of the six after a flash forward confirmed there was a festive murder. With multiple men in the firing line, it's anyone's game – but one thing has got fans thinking they know who it is.

One eagle-eyed EastEnders fan have shared their theory that it's Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) who has been killed off. In a long Reddit thread, one theory stated: "Penny and Lauren are coming back and are dressed in black.

They added: "Jack is now becoming heavily tied to TWO members of The Six, Denise and Stacey," it was added that Stacey and Denise appeared to be heavily involved with the killing in the flash forward.

Jack was also deemed the "perfect victim" because he's liked enough to spark "conflicted emotions in the audience". With Jack being a longstanding character it would cause drama, but not enough that it would "ruin the show", they added.

And while there are lots of conflicting theories, one user pointed out that the arrival of Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) may have exposed the truth too. The actress will be joining Walford with Jacqueline Jossa, who plays her on-screen cousin Jacqueline Jossa.

She's started following a lot of people from the cast – including her on-screen sister Ellie Dadd, Shane Richie, Shona McGarty and Natalie Cassidy – but her on-screen dad, Scott Maslen isn't someone she has followed.

One person wrote: "It's interesting that the actress that plays Penny doesn't follow the actor that plays Jack and vice versa. She follows a few of the people in EastEnders who it looks like she will have done scenes with."

Ahead of Penny's return, Kitty said her return to Walford is a "reality check" for her. She said: "Family is really important to everyone in Albert Square, it's nice to have this family connection between Lauren and Penny because it's something they've both been missing."

The duo are expected to return in the New Year in time for a funeral.

Although he’s bowed in and out of the show on numerous occasions over the years, he became a permanent fixture in 2016. Since then, it’s been a rollercoaster for Peter as he’s had to face multiple challenges.

Most recently, the character has drifted apart from his wife Carla Connor (Alison King). Cracks in their relationship started to show after he ran down serial killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).

Despite Peter stating everything will be fine for Christmas, Carla isn’t convinced after realising he wasn’t being truthful at an AA meeting. Deciding to call him out on lying, he decides to open up to his wife about everything.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk and other media publications, soap star Alison King detailed the moment Peter finally makes Carla understand how he’s feeling. She said: “It is gut-wrenching when he opens up and says he feels like he is not living a life.

“It really brings home what she has been thinking that even with her by his side he is not living a full life, he doesn’t feel like it’s enough for him.

It looks as though viewers will see Peter depart the show in a heartbreaking Boxing Day episode.

Confessing that the scenes were emotional to film, Alison stated they were lovely to film as audiences will get to see the true dynamic of their relationship.

She added: “Even though it doesn’t go into specific details of all their past, it shows what they’re like, as a couple.

“It was really nice to have that much time on them because people seem to enjoy them just having a conversation.

“It was something to get our teeth into with all the emotions and it was a real journey. It was really, really lovely to do those scenes.”

However, it looks as though Carla won’t be alone for too long as an unexpected arrival makes their way onto the cobbles.

Her nephew Bobby (Jack Carroll), who she had no idea existed, is the son of Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) and turns up in Weatherfield looking for a place to stay.

However, Carla could have some trouble on her hands as her new nephew is able to run rings around her.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.

And the current actor who plays him, Chris Gascoygne, has been a firm fixture for over two decades. However, Peter is set to bid a heartbreaking farewell to the Cobbles in sad scenes that will air over the festive period.

Chris will depart the soap after 23 years in Weatherfield, and viewers will see Peter bid an emotional farewell to his nearest and dearest. But ahead of his exit, we look back at the other actors to have graced the role prior to Chris, and what they’re doing now.

Robert Heanue (1965–1970)

Robert Heanue was the first actor to play Peter Barlow, and was born the same year as his on-screen counterpart.

Peter was introduced as the son of Valerie Barlow (Anne Reid) and Ken Barlow (William Roache). He also had a twin sister Susan, who has been played by various actresses throughout the years – but last seen on-screen in 2001.

Robert spent five years on-screen before exiting, but has not continued acting.

Chris Dormer (1970–1971) and Mark Duncan (1971)

Robert was then replaced by actor Chris, who spent a year on the soap.

However, he was written out at the age of seven when Chris’ family emigrated to Canada. While Robert hasn’t ended up with a career in acting, he has fond memories of his time in Weathfield.

He previously told The Mirror: "I really enjoyed the Street. I remember Pat Phoenix and Julie Goodyear kissing and tickling me because they thought I was cute."

Mark then took over the role, but only for one episode, which saw Peter and his sister Susan leave Weathefield to live with their grandmother.

Linus Roache (1973–1975)

Linus was the fourth actor to play Peter, and has quite the connection to William Roache, who plays the character’s on-screen father.

Actor Linus, now 59, is one of William’s real life children, and first appeared in Weatherfield at the age of nine. He actually returned to the soap in 2010, this time appearing as Ken's long-lost son, Lawrence Cunningham.

His brother James also joined the show, playing his on-screen son, James Cunningham.

Since his Corrie days, Linus has landed Hollywood roles in the likes of Homeland, Vikings, Law and Order and hit film My Policeman, which starred Harry Styles.

William previously spoke about how proud he is of his son’s acting career, telling The Sun : "When I'm in New York, no one bothers about me, it's all about Linus.

"James is just getting started but will no doubt be just the same.”

Joseph McKenner (1977–1978)

Joseph portrayed Peter between 1977 and 1978 but only appeared in a handful of episodes in this time.

The actor went on to feature in TV series The Camerons, as well as 1986 film Absolute Beginners alongside David Bowie and Patsy Kensit.

However, he has since quit acting, and later became a fashion editor and stylist. He worked as the fashion director at large at The New York Times' T magazine and worked on some iconic Calvin Klein and CK campaigns.

David Lonsdale (1986)

The final actor to play Peter before Chris joined the soap in 2000, David only had a short stint on the Cobbles.

He briefly brought Peter back to Weatherfield in 1986, but after this, the character wasn’t seen again for 14 years. David continued acting after Corrie, and returned to the soap twice in different roles.

He first returned in 2011 in a minor role working for a solicitor and again in May 2012, this time playing Edwin Soames. Elsewhere, he’s also featured in the likes of Vera, The Bay, Inspector Morse, Casualty and Emmerdale.

His most notable role on-screen is as David Stockwell in the ITV period police drama series Heartbeat. He’s also appeared in a couple of films, with a minor role as a repo man in The Full Monty back in 1997, and as a Desk Sergeant in Downton Abbey in 2019.

His death was announced on Friday, 15 December in statements shared by both his family and Emmerdale. Steve's cause of death has not been confirmed.

The actor's family said: "He went to sleep, peacefully with his loved ones around him. He was making us laugh to the end, the most amazing father and grandfather you could ever wish for, family was everything to him. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at St James Hospital and the Wheatfield Hospice for their love and kindness in his final days. He didn't want sadness, just to rejoice in a life well lived."

Steve had portrayed Zak Dingle in hit ITV soap since 1994 and was Emmerdale's second longest-serving cast member as of 2023.

Lorraine Kelly burst into tears during Friday’s episode of her self-titled ITV morning show. It came after the programme concluded with the Change and Check choir performing their song, Golden.

Recently, Lorraine announced Hannah Hawkins, a producer on the show, had tragically died of cancer at the age of 33 just a couple of months after giving birth to her first child. Her husband Tom and baby Rory joined Lorraine on the show to watch the special performance.

As the song ended and Lorraine was wrapping up the show, she was so choked up by the emotional song she struggled to speak.

“Wow, wow, wow, wow,” Lorraine commented, turning to baby Rory and adding: “That’s your mummy’s song, that’s your mummy’s song, baby.”

Tearing up, she continued: “Okay, wow, that was amazing, beautiful.”

“Sorry,” she managed as she became too emotional to speak.

She wiped away tears as she added: “Right, okay. Dermot and Lisa are up next.”

“Lots of love Lorraine,” Lisa Snowdon offered in response.

Golden features singer Joss Stone as well as the choir, which is made up of 20 women who were prompted to get themselves checked and found out they had breast cancer following the ITV camping.

Hannah was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and went into remission the following year.

However, she learned her cancer had sadly returned just days after she became a mum for the first time, welcoming son Rory in August of this year.

Last month, Lorraine announced: “We’ve got some very sad news to share with you about a much-loved member of our team.

She continued: “Our producer, Hannah Hawkins, died just before the weekend after discovering that her cancer had returned only a few months ago, just shortly after she gave birth to her beautiful boy, Rory.

“She was amazing at raising awareness and money for breast cancer, including taking part in the CoppaFeel! trek across the Sahara last year.

“And of course, helping out so much with her Change and Check campaign that I know meant so much to her.”

Lorraine airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.

In the first part of Martin Bourboulon’s rousing Musketeers double bill, we saw young D’Artagnan (Francois Civil) join the king’s elite guard, pull the Queen’s lady-in-waiting (Lyna Khoudri), and clash with sultry spy Milady (Eva Green).

The film ended with him being bashed over the bonce by an unseen hand.

The second part begins where that cliffhanger ending left off.

D’Artagnan comes round behind bars and has to swashbuckle his way out of prison in another wonderfully orchestrated action scene. And you’ll never guess who’s in the next cell.

You got it. It’s Milady, who evidently didn’t die when she jumped over the white cliffs of Dover.

Over an action-packed two hours, D’Artagnan forges a steamy alliance with Green’s spy.

He clearly fancies her but the honourable chap has pledged body and soul to his missing girlfriend Constance.

Milady is after a mysterious letter, D’Artagnan is desperately looking for his lover.

As both missions are linked to the sneaky Comte de Chalais (Patrick Mille), they have a common enemy.

Meanwhile, the three Musketeers (Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris, Pio Marmai) are leading a siege on a Protestant rebel-held fort.

The film has witty lines and thrilling battle scenes but it’s the brilliant Green who leaves you wanting more.

The Crown introduces Dr Andrew Gailey when Prince William returns to Eton College but who is he?

Prince William (played by Ed McVey) returns to the prestigious boarding school just four days after his mum Princess Diana’s (Elizabeth Debicki) funeral, despite his dad King Charles’ (Dominic West) reservations.

He is welcomed back by his housemaster Dr Andrew Gailey (Blake Ritson) and is seen again when the Netflix royal drama skips to a few months later.

Gailey is seen having a private conversation with William, trying to get him to open up about how he’s feeling but despite his best efforts, the young prince doesn’t want to share.

It is clear Gailey is disappointed he doesn’t feel like he can be honest but doesn’t try to push him any further.

Who was Prince William’s housemaster Dr Andrew Gailey? 

Dr Andrew Gailey taught in the history department at Eton College since 1981 and was a housemaster from 1993 until 2006.

A graduate of St Andrew’s and the University of Cambridge, Gailey is also a respected author who has published a plethora of history books, including Ireland and the Death of Kindness and Crying in the Wilderness: Jack Sayers, a liberal editor in Ulster.

It is believed he is married and has one daughter, although their names have been kept out of the spotlight.

Gailey does mention in The Crown having a wife who suffered with leukaemia but it isn’t clear if this was the case in real life as he hasn’t opened up publicly about his life.

Where is Dr Andrew Gailey now? 

While Gailey no longer teachers at Eton, he is the Vice-Provost and a Fellow of the College.

He remains very well-respected with MP Jacob Rees-Mogg once describing him as “a man of the utmost propriety and integrity”.

A former Eton College also told Finito World: “He was an excellent housemaster, a wonderful man and someone who I will respect for the rest of my life.”

It is clear he has a place in the Royal Family’s hearts as Gailey attended the weddings of both Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

In addition to this, he was awarded the title of Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO), by the Queen.

In terms of his work, his most recent book The Lost Imperialist: Lord Dufferin, Memory and Mythmaking in an Age of Celebrity, won the 2016 Elizabeth Longford Prize for Historical Biography.

It is now believed he is working on another book about Frances Horner who was the muse of the pre-Raphaelite Edward Burne Jones and leading light of the elite group The Souls.

Critics took the opportunity to shade Kim's holiday decor in the forum.

The reality TV star took to social media to share how she’s been dealing with her health issues which have left her coughing so much that she's been suffering with a "sore" rib.

In an update added to an Instagram story, Sue addressed that she's had lots of messages from people asking about her rib and her health in general.

"It's still really sore, but thankfully last night and today I've not been coughing as much," she told their 517K followers.

"I've certainly not been kept awake all night with coughing fits last night," she continued, which she shared "is the first time in a month."

Sue – who recently enjoyed her 21st holiday in two years – then explained that she managed to do the school run without "having to stop to cough every minute."

"I hope I've turned a corner; it's been an awful month, and I really feel for anyone with this awful cough," she continued.

Sue concluded post with an apology to her husband, Noel, who she shared has also not been getting a full eight hours of rest due to her keeping him up all night.

"Hopefully now hubby can get a good nights sleep," she joked, clearly indicating she's on the mend just in time for Christmas.

The couple’s second son Dustin was born 12 weeks early in February, weighing a tiny 2.4lb. He spent eight weeks in hospital before being allowed home to join older brother Josh, now 20 months.

Chatting exclusively to OK!, the couple say the tot is now “loving life”, adding that they’re preparing for a Wright family Christmas extravaganza.

“To have both boys this year will be something really special and we can’t wait,” professional footballer Josh, 34, told us. “We’ve got one tree up and the other is going up tonight – Hollie’s making a Disney tree for the boys. I’ve got to go and pick up a few outdoor trees today and we’re doing lights all outside and in the bushes. We love it!”

But the holiday is about far more than just lights and presents for the couple. It’s about getting together with their close-knit families, including Josh’s sister Jess, 38, and brother Mark, 36.

“With everything going on in the world at the moment, Christmas is a time for people to come together and relax a bit,” he says. “We love everything about it – the socialising, all the food and drink. And now, with the boys, Santa will come down the chimney and it’ll be even more special.”

The couple married in a gorgeous ceremony in Majorca in 2018, where Hollie, 34, was supported by a 12-strong crew of bridesmaids while Josh’s brother Mark was best man.

Last year they spent Christmas Day with Hollie’s mum and dad, so this time they’re heading to the home of Josh’s parents, Carol and Mark Sr, for the all-important lunch and present swap.

Luckily, the couples will be doing Secret Santa this year, mainly to keep stress levels down!

Last month, Mark and his former Corrieactress wife Michelle Keegan, 36, unveiled the impressive Christmas decorations at their £3.5 million Essex mansion, which is decked out in hundreds of outdoor lights and boasts a towering tree in the hallway.

When it comes to lavish festive decorations, Hollie admits they “try” to compete with Mark and Michelle, but hint that – unlike them – the couple might have had a bit of help.

“If Mark was up a ladder throwing them all up himself it would be different,” Josh says playfully. “This is all handmade and just me and Hollie. We think our tree’s the best, they think their tree is. It is what it is, but we love what we’ve got!”

Josh is especially excited about his kids’ presents this year, which might just include a two-seater mini electric sports car that they can use in the garden.

“It’s all about the kids now and they love anything with wheels,” he says. “Dustin can be the passenger, then he can drive it when he’s big enough.”

Hollie says she “doesn’t have a list” of dream gifts and is just happy celebrating with everyone who’s precious to her – her three boys.

But while it’s a happy occasion for the family, Hollie in particular is very aware they could’ve been facing a very different sort of Christmas if things had gone differently with Dustin’s birth.

She and Josh recently marked World Prematurity Day by linking up with Pampers to raise awareness of the plight of families with premature babies. The nappy brand is currently offering their Preemie Protection range – which is specially designed to fit around medical lines and leads – to families for free.

Hollie says talking about those early weeks of baby Dustin’s life is difficult, but she wants to shine a light on the issue.

“It’s hard to look back on it and think about it because we went through so much and it was a really hard time mentally and physically,” she says. “But I’d love to raise awareness and help other parents.”

Josh adds, “We were petrified and it was daunting – we were in the unknown. The hospital, nurses and doctors supported and guided us. When a baby’s born at that age they’re not ready to be in the world yet, so they need extra help.”

Thankfully, the Wrights had a happy ending with Dustin, who’s now doing “amazing” and actually started crawling the day before the family spoke to us for our catch-up.

“He loves life, he smiles and he’s doing really well,” Hollie beams.

Dad Josh knows exactly what it’s like growing up with a bigger brother – there are two years between him and Mark – so he can relate to the dynamic between his own kids.

“Josh is brilliant with Dustin,” he says. “Now and again Josh might be trying to sit on him or lay on him, but he’s gentle. It’s as if he knows what he’s doing.

“I’ve got an older brother and I’ve learnt so much from him and vice versa, and I think that’s what’s happening here.”

Josh and Hollie’s families were a huge support when they were spending time with Dustin in hospital every day. Carol, Josh’s mum, helped lighten their load by making sure the family fridge was always well-stocked, bringing round soup and pies.

“We are very fortunate and we really don’t take it for granted,” says Josh. “We’ve both got big, loving families that supported us from day dot and that will never stop.”

But have the deliveries of Carol’s home-cooked delights since stopped?

“I’d be lying if I said she hasn’t dropped round a few dinners in the last month or two and we hadn’t gone there for a few meals,” Josh laughs. “We’ve always got helping hands around us and our mums love having grandchildren. And long may that continue!”

Fans of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! have complained that the show has been damaged after former politician Nigel Farage scooped third place.

The hit ITV show came to an end on Sunday night (December 10) with Sam Thompson crowned as this year's king of the jungle and boxer Tony Bellew coming in a respectable second place. But despite many being pleased with the way things turned out, others are still concerned with the fact Brexit campaigner Nigel was able to get so far in the competition.

Meanwhile, body language expert Judi James seems to think Nigel was able to trigger a rebellious side amongst viewers too, as many decided to keep him in despite a roaring response that he should leave the show early on. Taking to X formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on Nigel's almost victorious win.

He was the stiff upper lip guy and that approach would have ended the show on a damp squib. Tony and Sam would trigger feel-good emotions though because they have shared the ‘nice guy’ role on this show, which, on the run-in to Xmas when global news is so gloomy, would give the fans a belief that the world is actually a good place and that nice guys can win."

But while he has to go above and beyond to try and find his son, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) and his partner Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) both know where Chloe has gone.

Later on, Mack and Charity covertly follow Amy’s car as it leaves the village.

When they get stuck at some temporary traffic lights, Matty’s horrified and Amy’s furious to spot Mack and Charity are following them.

With Mack increasingly frustrated over Amy’s unwillingness to tell him where his son is, he takes drastic measures and snatches her phone, planning to lure Chloe to a meet up by pretending to be her sister.

Soon, an oblivious Chloe is excited as she prepares Reuben to meet Amy in a nearby park.

But a careless word from Mackenzie in a text sent to her from Amy’s phone leads suspicious Chloe to realise she’s walking into a trap.

As she sends a reply telling Mack he’ll never see his son again, his despair quickly turns to fury.

Amy then shames Mack for isolating a vulnerable Chloe even further.

When Matty accuses Mack of destroying his relationship with Amy, Mack’s sarcastic response prompts Matty to punch him.

Things then go from bad to worse when Amy hopes Mackenzie will never see Reuben again.

An angry Amy blames him for leaving Chloe isolated, alone and on the run while a stricken Matty heads off in defeat, believing their relationship is over.

Later, up at the HOP, Amy’s startled when a hooded figure grabs her – could it be Mackenzie?

While it would be easy to speculate Mack will lash out as he continues to spiral without his son, one member of the Wyatt family has been missing for several months – Amy and Chloe's mother Kerry.

Actress Laura Norton is expected to reprise her role as the fan favourite after leaving the soap to go on maternity leave.

Could she come back with Chloe to the Dales in a bid to help her get rid of Mackenzie?

Could Amy be approached by a worried Kerry, secretly returning to make Mack's life a nightmare?

2. Horrific arrival

Soap fans have also been at the edge of their seats after it was revealed that Chloe's controlling father would soon be making an appearance in Emmerdale.

And as Christmas is fast approaching, Mackenzie's struggle to get to Reuben is due to continue, as teased by actor Lawrence Robb during a recent chat with Metro.co.uk.

"The teaser for this Christmas will be: cold, hard, sore, dangerous, dynamic, critical", the soap star said, without going into any specifics.

One could expect Chloe's father to retaliate by plotting a nasty revenge on Mack.

And with Amy threatening the hunk earlier this year, death could even be in the cards.

Tom King (James Chase) returned to the village earlier this year and, after bumping into Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), he decided to rekindle their relationship.

However, Lynne later told Janice: "You’re one of the most horrible people I’ve ever encountered."

But Janice had some even harsher words to share back in her direction, saying of Lynne: "I’m going to stab her in the middle of the night and take her [bed].‌

“You think I’m kidding? I’ll eat her t**s. I’ll fry up those big old boobs."

Outspoken Loose Women star Janet really didn’t take kindly to East 17’s Brian’s farting habit.

‌While she was attempting to cook a meal, he kept farting around the campfire, leading Janet to say: “Listen, don't do that when we're cooking. It's so inappropriate."

Brian responded: “You're cooking dinner! You're f*****g over there, I'm over there. Don't keep f*****g having a go at me about farting!

"Just because you think it's wrong doesn't mean everyone else thinks it's wrong. I'm farting because I need to f*****g fart, because all I've eaten is f*****g beans!

"I take it very personal because you know that there's 16 million people watching!"

Not longer after the row, he walked from the jungle, telling viewers he was sick of being "treated like a kid" in the jungle.‌

Nicola Mclean and David Van Day

‌Another pair who couldn’t stop rowing were singer-songwriter David and model Nicola, who appeared on the show back in 2008.

‌At one point on the show, Nicola told David to "go into a cave and cry because you’re afraid of the dark", proceeding to call him a "snake" as she was voted off.

She later made claims about his behaviour on the show: “I was washing a car but he thought it was appropriate to spank my bum and try to kiss me," she claimed.

‌"His behaviour was very strange and made me feel so uncomfortable. I'd gone from arguing non-stop with this man who was old enough to be my father – to have his hands on my body when I was wearing my bikini.

‌"It was very sexually inappropriate."‌

Speaking of their various spats last year, Nicola called him her least favourite campmate on Instagram, sharing: "He was an absolute t***. Literally his sole purpose was to p*** everyone off."

Matthew Wright and Alfonso Ribiero

Matthew, who appeared in the 2013 series, clashed with multiple campmates throughout his time on the show.

But one of the most bizarre outbursts happened in the direction of former Fresh Prince of Bel Air star, Alfonso, as they argued over grammar.‌

Former morning show host Matthew called out Alfonso for confusing the words “minimum" and "maximum”, who wasn’t very happy about the correction.

"Matthew, enough!" he said. "Enough! Okay, enough! I've had enough of your f*****g s**t. I'm done with you talking about it."

At the time, Matthew labelled it “a completely unnecessary outburst”, but Alfonso continued: "I've had enough of his a**. I'm done with him saying every time I say something, 'No you are wrong, I'm right, you are wrong'.

"Well, no, you are f*****g not! I will take respect in a debate rather than, 'You are f*****g wrong'."

Luckily, they did eventually hug it out, but fellow campmate David Emmanuel labelled them as “drama queens”, and said: “It's an emotional rollercoaster here, they haven't been seeing eye to eye for some time, but today it erupted into a real showbiz bitch!"

Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder ‌

Famous nutritionist Gillian had quite the fallout with Happy Mondays frontman Shaun when the pair popped up on the show back in 2010.

Shaun had enough of Gillian’s theatrics during one Bushtucker Trial, which made her scream, leading Shaun to brand her "a f*****g irritating woman."

Gillian then called Shaun “disgusting” for the way he spoke to people, but he wasn’t having any of it.

He hit back: "You say the nasty things all the time… your tone, everything. The way you speak to everyone."

The musician did apologise for his remarks, but added: "She's just rude and she's said some rude things to the girls. It's all right for her to say things, put people down or talk to them like s***, which she does.

"Yet you give it to her and she can't take it."

Gemma Collins vs the jungle‌

Gemma was one of the most exciting bookings for the show when she joined the line-up back in 2014.‌

It became clear moments in that Gemma wasn’t going to enjoy the experience, as she asked to get out of a helicopter just after beginning her journey on the show.

She pleaded: “Can you stop a minute, please, I’m serious, just stop, I need to get out, seriously I’m going to be sick, I can’t do it, no way.”

“I got into the chopper and suddenly felt very scared but thought I can’t show anyone I’m scared, but I cried like a baby and I don’t think I’m going to be able to do this jungle lark.”

After complaining at every possible opportunity, it turned out the GC really wasn’t cut out for jungle life, and quit after just three days on the show.

At one point, she claimed to cameras: “People who murder get treated better than this. That’s the truth. Even a murderer gets fed three times a day.”

Prime Video fans have been left stunned as they recognise the street of the Christmas film as Wisteria Lane. 

The film, which stars Nick Offerman, Jillian Bell and Tracee Ellis Ross opposite Eddie, 62, premiered on 1 December.

Since its debut, Candy Cane Lane has garnered poor to mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. But, one thing that has really stood out from the movie for viewers is the setting. 

Candy Cane Lane is set in the California neighbourhood of El Segundo because it is inspired by the famous Christmas light display on this city’s East Acacia Avenue.

Each December, real-life residents face off against each other to see who can come up with the best Christmas display, complete with vibrant lights and festive decorations, just as they do in the movie.

After watching Candy Cane Lane, viewers have spotted something familiar about the street in the holiday flick. 

Fans flocked to social media to discuss how the street looks exactly like Wisteria Lane.

Discussing their theory on Reddit, one user said: “The movie starts by being about decorating the outside of the houses for Christmas, so it was cool to see what I thought were houses I recognised.”

They added: “It was kind of neat to peek around the neighbourhood and see it all done over the top with Christmas lights and be almost sure it was the Desperate Housewives neighbourhood.”

“Yes, it’s the same houses from the show,” another fan agreed in the comments. 

The connection comes because both the exterior shots for both the movie and TV show were filmed on the same set at Hollywood’s Universal Studios.

The street which makes up both Candy Cane Lane and Wisteria Lane in Desperate Housewives is actually a purpose-built set called Colonial Street.

It was designed to be a quintessential suburban street.

As it is a set, most of the houses are actually empty inside or not even property finished at the back (as shown in the aerial photo above), as the interior shots are usually recorded separately in a studio.

The home of Eddie’s character, Chis Carver, and his family in Candy Cane Lane used to belong to Mike Delfino (James Denton) and later Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) in Desperate Housewives. 

Spotting the connection, one viewer mused that the set might have been used to cut costs.

“Not Candy Cane Lane using the Desperate Housewives set. The budget wasn’t budgeting,” the viewer joked on X, formerly Twitter.

Another social media user was thrilled: “I love that Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives is still getting used. First in Never Have I Ever with Davy living in Susan’s house, but now Candy Cane Lane with Chris Carver’s family living in Mike Delfino’s house.”

Candy Cane Lane features several other notable homes from Desperate Housewives. 

The blue house beside the Carver’s home belonged to Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross). While the yellow house at the top of the street is very recognisable as Gabby (Eva Longoria) and Carlos’ (Ricardo Antonia Chavira) house.

EastEnders star Bobby, 20, is competing on the BBC One series with Dianne Buswell, 34, with the pair having made it to the semi-final. His father Jeff Brazier, 44, and younger brother Freddie, 19, have been cheering him in the audience at Elstree Studios each week, but his grandmother Jackiey, 66, has been noticeably absent.

Jackiey, who is the mother of late Big Brother star Jade Goody, has now spoken out about her Strictly absence, saying it's "just one of those things".

She told The Sun on Sunday: "Unfortunately I haven’t seen Bobby live. I would have loved to, but it’s just one of those things. I’ve been supporting him from home, watching every moment."

It's been claimed that Bobby has only had his immediate family – Jeff, Freddie and step-mum Kate – supporting him in the studio throughout Strictly due to a long-running argument between Jeff and his grandmother Jackiey.

Jackiey and Jeff, who has looked after both Bobby and Freddie since Jade's tragic death in 2009, allegedly fell out some years ago and have been unable to repair their fractured relationship.

A friend of the family told the Mail: "Jeff and Jackiey haven't got on for a long time and it has been hard. It has meant that Jackiey hasn't been able to be in the audience to watch Bobby, things are just too bad between her and his father.

"He and his brother Freddie are her only grandchildren and she adores them, there is nothing she would love more than to be there to watch him live."

The insider went on to brand the fall out a "very, very sad situation" and said there is "very little chance" of Jackiey being allowed to attend the Strictly final on Sunday, 17 December, should Bobby secure himself a spot.

"Jeff has been a brilliant father to those boys and has tried to navigate through many difficulties. It is a very, very sad situation. There is nothing Jackiey would like more than to go to the final but there is very little chance of that," they added.

He is currently one of only four celebrities remaining in the competition. Bobby, Layton Williams, Annabel Croft and Ellie Leach all made it to the Strictly semi-final, with only three of them able to compete in the final.

It will be revealed during the Strictly results show on Sunday, 10 December, which couples have received the most amount of votes and will be going through to the final week.
