A Place In The Sun: ‘We have a new arrival!’ Jasmine Harman gushes over family addition

Jasmine Harman shared an Instagram post with her followers this evening to talk about some exciting news. The A Place In The Sun star revealed she and her family have welcomed an adorable pet pooch into their lives.

The Channel 4 favourite said the cute dog is called Jet and he is their new “furry family member”.

Jasmine used the opportunity to remind people pets are for life and not just for Christmas.

Alongside the sweet picture of herself holding her new pet pooch, the presenter wrote: “Big news for the New Year – We have a new arrival!!! Meet Jet, our new furry family member.

“The children are absolutely besotted with him (as are we!) he’s been with us for a few weeks now and has settled beautifully.”

Jasmine said they were all looking forward to making plenty of lovely memories with their furry friend.

“Can’t wait for lots of lovely walks and puppy play with him throughout 2020 and for many years to come because #adogisforlife and I can barely articulate how lovely it is to have a pooch in the house again after 5 years,” she continued.

“It’s hard work and a big commitment of course, but so rewarding! We start puppy school next week with @dogstrust.”

Jasmine added: “#puppylove #crossbreed #newarrival #dogsofinstagram #instadog #puppiesofinstagram #puppy #happynewyear #furbaby.”

Unsurprisingly, Jasmine had many of her 29,400 followers comment to gush over the sweet puppy.

One wrote: “He’s lovely. Happy New Year to you and all your family.”

Another said: “Awww he’s adorable! Interesting times ahead no doubt!”

A third commented: “Happy new year Jasmine to you, furbaby and the whole family! Hope you have a wonderful 2020!”

Meanwhile, Jasmine didn’t have a good start to December this year as she spoke candidly about a “disastrous” week on Instagram.

The star revealed she had suffered a few various mishaps and vented her frustrations on the social media platform.

The property expert said in a video: “I’ve had a bit of disastrous week so far. I don’t know what is wrong with me but I managed to leave my suitcase in the middle of London Victoria train station.

“I’ve scratched my car and I’ve turned up to the gym wearing my boots instead of my trainers. And I’ve forgot my trainers at home.”

The A Place In The Sun presenter revealed things were not all bad as she feasted on a savoury treat.

“But one good thing that has happened this week, is my local bakery has launched their new vegan steak and mushroom slice,” Jasmine explained.

“All vegan and completely delicious. So well done Sean for developing this recipe. It’s awesome.”

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
