Aaron from S Club Juniors looks exactly the same 18 years after leaving the band

S Club Juniors star Aaron Renfree looked the spitting image of his younger self as he attended a party in London on Wednesday night.

The star, now 34, was just 14 when he joined the pop band in 2001, which was a teen spin-off of pop megastars S Club 7.

Joined by Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Aaron looked barely changed from his pop group days, smiling for photographs as he wore white jeans and a low-cut shirt with a green abstract pattern.

Aaron wore a silver pendant necklace and a silver watch as he put an arm around Nadine, who put on a big smile, wearing a black t-shirt dress with glitter detail on the front and a small black satchel bag.

Posting a photo of the pair together on his Instagram after the event, Aaron joked he was “full of frozen margs”, while Nadine replied in the comments: “Such a lovely time!!!”

Aaron was a member of the group alongside Frankie Bridge (then Sanford) and Rochelle Humes (then Wiseman), who both went on to later be part of girl group The Saturdays, as well as fellow band members Daisy Evans, Jay Asforis, Stacey McClean, Calvin Goldspink and Hannah Richings.

The group enjoyed huge success and racked up six top ten hits, including Automatic High and One Step Closer.

The group split up in 2004, after which Aaron decided to return to college to study musical theatre at Laine Theatre Arts, which counts Victoria Beckham as one of its alumni.

Like fellow S Club Junior member Jay Asforis, Aaron then found success as a West End performer, appearing in shows such as Flashdance and We Will Rock You.

He’s also had a successful career as a dancer, having performed for the likes of Taylor Swift, Little Mix, Kylie Minogue, Take That, Olly Murs and JLS.

Aaron also works as a choreographer, having worked on shows for Dancing On Ice and X Factor, as well as the Saturdays and on Nadine Coyle’s music video for Fool For Love.

Speaking about his experience of finding his way after S Club Juniors, Aaron previously spoke about how he had “no confidence”.

Speaking to Attitude in 2014, he said: “Since being in the band, I went straight back to college: I could have gone on living as if I was Aaron from S Club Juniors but I literally stripped that off me and went back to college.

"I was 17. I had no confidence. I had to work back from scratch.“
