Alex Reid has said his recent stint in prison was a result of wishing ill on his ex Katie Price – as he allowed negativity into his life.
In April, the former cage-fighter was sentenced to eight weeks in jail for contempt of court after he lied in a witness statement while trying to claim compensation for a car crash.
Reid only served four weeks at HMP Pentonville in Islington, and will serve the remaining four weeks on licence while caring for his heavily pregnant fiancée Nikki Manashe.

Detailing his stay in a YouTube video, the 45-year-old admitted he believes he brought the prison on himself after putting negative energy out into the world.
He explained: ‘It’s the law of attraction. I’ve always thought I’m going to end up in prison. There’s so much injustice in my life.’
Reid went on to explain that he thinks his ex-wife Katie was at the root of the negative energy after she allegedly shared sex tape footage of him.
Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex married Katie in Las Vegas in February 2010, but the relationship was short lived and they divorced 11 months later.
In November 2019, Price was ordered to pay ex-husband Reid £150,000 to cover his legal costs after she was accused of playing an intimate video of him to a TV studio audience.

Price was accused of showing intimate footage of the Celebrity Big Brother star to the 40-strong audience of Bit On The Side in January, 2018.
However, the mother-of-five maintained that she downloaded the videos in question from YouTube.
Speaking about his ordeal, Reid said: ‘I’ve wanted justice in my life, especially with the ex. The one with the revenge porn.
‘There’s all sorts of images still out there, they scare me. I’ve been totally destroyed. Countless times there’s been boasts from the ex, saying how she has these videos that could destroy me.’

Reid was granted a High Court injunction to prevent Price sharing ‘private and confidential information’ about him in 2018 after he brought legal action amid claims she shared photographs and video of a ‘sexual nature’.
He elaborated: ‘I wanted justice which is why I got a high court injunction, I didn’t really feel protected because it’s done nothing but cost me.
‘I wish I’d let her go – to even mention her name, I don’t want to ever talk about her – but I’m here I’m talking about it. It’s a negative drain.’
He concluded: ‘I’ve wanted her to have what’s happening to me. It’s more and more about law of attraction. I got exactly what I wanted but the other way round.
‘If you want something bad on somebody else you attract it to yourself. I didn’t want revenge, I wanted justice. I got justice. I did some wrong and I’ve certainty been punished for it.’
Price also came up during conversation with an inmate, with Reid saying: ‘There were a couple of comments about my ex-wife and one about dressing as a girl. Just one.
‘Everyone could see I wasn’t someone to be messed with. And that’s a tricky thing to do in prison. You don’t want to be too strong, too alpha male, create attention.’
A representative for Katie declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.

Reid was sentenced to eight weeks in prison back in April, of which he served half his time. In a rare move, Reid was not given a criminal record, but had to serve time in jail.
The High Court heard Reid made a county court claim for insurance compensation after an Audi driven by him was involved in a crash with another driver in January 2018.
As part of that submission, he said in a sworn statement that he did not know a motorbike rider called Darren Summers, who it was claimed had witnessed the crash.
However, the other motorist’s insurers, Axa Insurance UK, discovered an article on a local news website about an appearance Reid had made at a mixed martial arts (MMA) masterclass in Ipswich in September 2017.
The article stated that Mr Summers, a former European and world kickboxing champion, had organised the event for charity.
The former cage fighter tried claiming up to £50,000 plus £11,500 in ‘special damages’ – but the court heard he likely would have received only £20,000 if the bid was successful.
He concluded: ‘I’ve wanted her to have what’s happening to me. It’s more and more about law of attraction. I got exactly what I wanted but the other way round’
Reid admitted contempt of court when Axa initiated High Court committal proceedings against him in January this year.
Sentencing him to eight weeks in prison, Mrs Justice Eady said she took into account the mitigation put forward on his behalf, including that his fiancée is six months’ pregnant and he has recently been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.
However, the judge said that only a custodial term would reflect the serious nature of his dishonesty.
She said he would serve half of his sentence in prison and the remaining half on licence following his release.
Moving on: Reid said, ‘I wish I’d let her go – to even mention her name, I don’t want to ever talk about her – but I’m here I’m talking about it. It’s a negative drain’
Giving his side of the story, Reid claimed the story had been ‘exaggerated’ in the media, insisting he ‘didn’t try to con anyone’, but that he did lie by pretending he didn’t know Mr Summers.
He confessed: ‘Morally I felt right… but I didn’t really understand what I was doing. I could blame him [Summers] but ultimately it’s me who took his advice, I shouldn’t have done that.
‘It was a stupid thing. Even Nikki my lovely lady said don’t do it. I’m a good person, good in my heart. I don’t think it was my fault but I lied about not knowing my witness.’
Reid is just weeks away from welcoming a baby with fiancée Nikki, 36, following a seven-year fertility battle.
In November, the couple confirmed they were expecting twins but sadly Nikki miscarried one of the babies in December.
In his YouTube video, Alex mused: ‘I feel massive guilt for the people I left behind, the people who needed me.
‘My fiancée who is seven weeks away from giving birth. We’ve had to rush to the hospital twice in the last month with complications – she’s extremely stressed. I felt so selfish.’
Manashe is due on July 18 – the day before Reid’s birthday.
Sportsman Alex also shares an eight-year-old daughter Dolly, with former partner Chantelle Houghton.
