Alison Hammond has shut down a troll who slammed her This Morning presenting style in the best way.
Alison, 46, who fronts the ITV show with Dermot O'Leary on Fridays, was criticised by a viewer who claimed she “messes up” her hosting duties.
“Why do we need to see @AlisonHammond ? It’s bad enough that she messes up Fridays – which I no longer watch,” the user tweeted, in response to a recent post from This Morning’s official page.
Hitting back in a hilarious manner, Alison, who recently said she feels like she's “at the bottom of a pit” in an obesity battle, responded: “I’m so loved,” alongside a smiling face with hearts emoji.
A follower later defended Alison, tweeting: “I’m glad you’ve chosen to focus on all the lovely comments about you rather than the one unnecessarily mean one. You are so loved Alison,” to which she wrote back: “It’s what we do, thanks for the love. I needed it.”
Her co-star Josie Gibson also rushed to publicly support her following the cruel comment.
Josie, 36, wrote: “Val you know in your heart you still tune in. Alison is so loved… she’s the woman of the people. She kind hearted, funny, and addictive with the soul of an angel.”
She added: “We LOVE our Hammando!!!”
Alison and Dermot took over Fridays on This Morning from husband-and-wife presenting duo Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford at the beginning of the year.
The pair have admitted they had a frank chat about not being each other's biggest fans when they were first put together.

Speaking on Lorraine, Alison started by admitting they didn't spend time together as friends: "We knew each other but we didn't hang out with each other. We still don't hang out with each other.
"We were thrown together on a Friday a bit like an arranged marriage and it took about two months before we became comfortable."
Dermot agreed that the first months together had been tough, adding: "You know what it's like, when you start a show and you work with someone… you go out for lunch… we were on air in half an hour.
"When you're co-presenting it takes a while to find those little beats, I'm going to talk now, you're going to talk now, you find out about each other's sense of humour, you find out what you like about each other, what you don't like about each other, and those things take about two months."
As Lorraine laughingly asked what they possibly couldn't like about each other, she was unprepared for the honest answer.
Alison said: "We told each other what we don't like, we were so honest and I think that's why it's worked.
"We had a few private chats and we said I don't like this about you, well I don't like this when you do this. They were really tiny things, but the fact we were honest and were able to talk to each other, I think that's why it's worked. I trust you now."
