‘I accidentally fell in love with my co-star’: Amber Davies CONFIRMS romance with Back to the Future actor Ben Joyce – after splitting from Nick Kyriacou

Amber Davies has confirmed she is dating her Back to the Future co-star Ben Joyce after splitting from Nick Kyriacou.

The former Love Island winner turned West End star, 26, spoke about their budding romance while appearing on Lorraine on Monday.

When asked by stand-in host Ranvir Singh if she was dating Ben, Amber admitted that she ‘accidentally fell in love with my co-star’.

The pair have been hit my romance rumours in recent weeks after growing close on the set of Back to The Future: The Musical, with Amber playing Lorraine Bains – Ben’s character, Marty McFly’s mother.

On Lorraine, Ranvir teased: ‘You have been looking very cosy with Back to the Future co-star Ben Joyce.’ 

To which Amber said: ‘The plan was to be single for a while and then I accidentally fell in love with my co-star!’

She went on to gush about her new boyfriend, describing him as an ‘absolute ray of sunshine’ as she confirmed their romance.

‘Do you know what it is… he’s just an absolute ray of sunshine and he’s so loved by everyone on the cast,’ she said.

‘He’s an absolute powerhouse of a talent… and he’s one of the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever met.’

Their new romance comes after Amber recently cleared her Instagram of traces of her on-again-off-again beau Nick Kyriacou. It is not clear when they parted ways.

Amber first sparked romance rumours with Ben after she was said to have shared a romantic getaway with him, during which he took to Instagram to share a snap.

The pair took a break from performing to enjoy a luxury retreat at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds together.

Amber and Ben have been sharing the stage in the hit musical and were first photographed together at the Stage Debut Awards last month. 

Ben shared a gallery of snaps from the evening as Amber can be seen fixing her beau’s smart blazer which he donned with a white shirt. 

The former reality star looked sensational in a black cut out maxi dress which boasted a thigh high split.

A theatre source recently spoke to The Sun about the new couple, saying: ‘Amber and Ben are both young and eager to have long-lasting careers in theatre and are both Welsh, so they have lots in common.

‘Eyebrows were raised when they both asked to take time off from the show at the same time and then went on holiday together, but it’s sweet to see. Clearly things are going well.’

A second source told the publication: ‘Amber and Ben are just enjoying spending some time together at this stage.’ 

Amber recently cleared her Instagram of snaps of her on-again-off-again boyfriend Nick and it is not clear when they parted ways. 

The former couple met during lockdown in 2020 after being introduced by a mutual friend.

Amber and Nick had split multiple times during their relationship, but they were thought to be heading towards getting engaged. 

Back in March, Amber responded to a question in a TikTok video which said: ‘How often do you rehearse saying ‘yes’ to your imaginary future proposal?’

To which she replied: ‘Every day. Not all day every day, but every day.’

She captioned the clip: ‘This is true.’
