Reigning Love Island champion Amber Gill has hinted she's finally dating fellow former contestant Ovie Soko in a cryptic social media message.
The Newcastle babe, 21, fuelled romance rumours with the basketball hunk by responding to a cheeky Tweet by fashion brand MissPap.
Ahead of Sunday night's Winter Love Island launch show, the clothing company shared a sexy snap of Love Island fan favourite Ovie, 28, alongside a flirtatious caption.
MissPap wrote: "This year's boys are cute, but BRING BACK OVIE."
Ambassador of the brand Amber spotted the message and sparked rumours of their relationship status as she replied: " Excuse me?"
The self-confessed millionaire appeared to hilariously shut down the company's suggestion that Ovie should return to the show, leading many to assume it is because he is 'taken.'
Thousands of fans instantly rushed to the comment section to gush about the pairs rumoured relationship.
One wrote: "You would make a lovely couple!! The best relationships/marriages work when two people start off as the best of friends…and then hit it off."
While another shared: "Is this confirmation? Omg lord PLEASE."
A third added: "Hope this is French for y’all dating."
However Amber was quick to slam reports the duo are more than just friends as she pleaded supporters to 'drop it'.
The beautician announced: "Looool guys I meant because I'm misspap's brand ambassador I should be their favourite not Ovie…
"Yous lot are like pushy parents DROPPPPP IT."
Amber’s tweet comes just days after after the announcement that the 'villa besties' have collaborated with JustEat ahead of the new series of winter Love Island.
Taking to Instagram , the reality star revealed: “Reunited with my one of my villa bestie Ovie Soko to watch the new season of Love Island as Just a UK Island Insider.
"We’ll be spilling the tea on the new islanders next week.”
During a recent red carpet appearance, Ovie ruled out anything more than friendship between the two.
He told Mirror Online that "Amber's a friend.
"It's gonna stay that way. 100%."
Amber meanwhile compared Ovie to a "brother" during a chat with OK!
The beautician revealed: "It's a weird thing for me because he's like my brother.
"I would prefer to have him as a friend. We have never really thought of each other like that – it's a bit strange that everybody comments on it all the time.
"I'm like, 'Oh my God, no, stop.'"
* Love Island airs daily at 9pm on ITV2
