Amelia Gray Hamlin shows off fake silver piercings on her FACE before walking the runway for Balenciaga during Paris Fashion Week

Amelia Gray Hamlin flaunted her edgy makeup look in a new TikTok video that she shared to her fans and followers earlier on Sunday. 

The 21-year-old model and influencer shared a clip that showed a behind the scenes glimpse showing herself getting prepped for the Balenciaga runway show amid Paris Fashion Week. 

The star-studded event, which was labeled The Mud Show, comprised of an apocalyptic setting where models walked on a muddy runway.

The talented beauty showcased an assortment of faux silver facial piercings that were adorned on her face. 

She had pointed piercings around her eyebrows along with two rectangular piercings directly above the bridge of her nose. 

Amelia had a few additional lip piercings to complete the edgy look for the runway show. 

The beauty’s dark hair was parted in the middle, allowing her locks to be slicked back. 

The star had her phone camera directly in front of her, and then showed fans her look from a higher angle.

During the short clip, a makeup artist was brushing on a touch of concealer before she changed into her shimmering runway look. 

When she arrived backstage, Amelia was wearing an all-black, monochromatic ensemble, comprising of a black sweater and jacket on top. 

Towards the end of the video, the model made a few funny faces towards the camera while zooming in and out. 

She appeared to be in high spirits and more than thrilled to have the opportunity to walk the runway for the luxury brand.

The Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2023 runway event was called, The Mud Show, and contained a muddy runway along with a thick mud on the walls, according to Hypebeast. 

Demna Gvasalia, the current creative director for luxury brand, explained that the fashion show was, ‘a metaphor for digging for truth and being down to earth,’ reported Harper’s Bazaar. 

‘I’ve decided to no longer explain my collections and verbalize my designs, but to express a state of mind,’ and also stated, ‘I hate boxes and I hate labels… Individualism in fashion is downgraded to pseudotrends dictated by a post in stories of some celebrity of the moment.’ 

Kanye West, also known as Ye, opened the show, wearing a large utility vest and black pants. Other supermodels that walked the sludge-covered runway included Bella Hadid. 

In attendance to watch the one-of-a-kind show where stars such as Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and Vogue editor, Anna Wintour.

Earlier on Sunday, Amelia also jumped onto her Instagram to share a message of how grateful she was to have the experience to walk the runway for Balenciaga during Paris Fashion Week. 

Her look for the fashion event consisted of form-fitting, short-sleeved glittering dress that fell down into the mud. 

‘BALENCIAGA MUDD BRIDE SS23 I HAVE NO WORDS. I BALLED MY EYES OUT DURING THIS WHOLE PROCESS. IM SO CONFUSED. IM SO GRATEFUL. IM SO IN SHOCK. I DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW,’ she typed in the caption, while also giving a shoutout the the brand and the creative director. 

Amelia explained she ‘found out’ she was cast for the show after, ‘BEGGING TO SIT FRONT ROW TO WATCH THE BEAUTY.’ 

The star is no stranger to showcasing her catwalk, and recently walked the runway for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger during New York Fashion Week last month in September.
