Footballer Ashley Cain and his partner Safiyya Vorajee have been warned to "make the most of this weekend" with their terminally ill baby daughter.
Taking to social media on Friday, both Ashley and Safiyya shared footage of their only child out in the bright spring sunshine.
Ashley explained as he walked with sleeping Azaylia: “The palliative care team told us that we should make the most of this weekend and enjoy this weekend, so you can understand what that message means."
Meanwhile Safiyya shared her heartbreak after being told the eight-month-old was nearing the end after doctors were unable to continue treating her rare form of leukaemia.
She said: "Feeling the heartache more and more today, as the Nurses woke me up this morning and told me to enjoy the weekend as they now think her body is slowly shutting down."
After months of aggressive treatment, Ex On The Beach star Ashley and his partner have taken Azaylia home from hospital to spend her last days surrounded by family. They are posting their story on social media in a bid to share the reality of childhood cancer.
But while the news is bleak, both parents still have hope.
Safiyya added: "I got told this a couple of weeks ago and she has stayed so strong through this I’m so proud of how strong you are Azaylia.
“Hearing these words, rips and tears my heart and soul into pieces watching my little girl get tired is painful. But giving her 100 per cent everyday is what she was promised."
And Safiyya said she was even learning from her daughter. "Appreciating the day the hour and the min is something I never thought I would do as we all take life for granted,” Safiyya added.
Like Safiyya, Ashley has fought to appreciate every single moment while they still have their baby with them.

And he remains positive, appreciating the simple things like a walk with Azaylia.
“Who’d have thought that walking your baby up and down the street in a buggy would feel like the best thing in the world?” he asked with a smile. “But it actually does. Incredible moments every single day.”
He said they were monitoring Azaylia's condition carefully, after she twice stopped breathing on Thursday night.

Later coming to a stand still to address his fans directly, Ashley opened up on the latest in his daughter’s condition.
“The fact of the matter is yeah, we make the most of every day,” he shrugged. “And we enjoy every day.
“I’ll tell you one thing I haven’t got no plans for her going anywhere this weekend, I’m an optimist. I’m a believer.
“I have a positive mind frame and I know her strength and I know mine. And I ain’t thinking them things, I don’t need to make a special effort to enjoy her because I enjoy her every day."
Ending his poignant message, Ashley added: “I ain’t got no plans on this little one going anywhere this weekend trust me. Let’s go champ. Let’s go.”
