It’s “almost paradise” for “Bachelor” franchise alums Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson, who got married over the weekend.
The wedding took place in Mexico, People reports, with “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison officiating and several franchise favorites in attendance — if “Bachelor in Paradise” follows tradition, fans could expect to see video of the ceremony when the show premieres later this summer. USA TODAY has reached out to “Paradise” publicists for a statement.
Nielson shared a photo of the happy couple posing in front of a fountain, surrounded by palm trees. She wore a light-colored dress, while Randone opted for a blue suit jacket and gray pants.

After appearing on Becca Kufrin’s season of “The Bachelorette” and Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of “The Bachelor,” respectively — each garnering a reputation as a villain — Randone and Nielson met last summer in Mexico on the franchise’s “Bachelor in Paradise” spinoff. Randone proposed during the finale.
“You’ve changed my life. You’ve changed me,” Randone told her during the filmed proposal. “You’ve helped me become a better version of myself, a better man… I want to give you my heart today, tomorrow and forever.”
“I’m gonna be Mrs. Goose!” Nielson joked afterward, referencing the nickname Randone became known for in the franchise.
