Ben Affleck proves he is part of the family as he bonds with Jennifer Lopez’s twins Emme and Max, 13, during intimate dinner in Malibu

He has reportedly made quite the impression on Jennifer Lopez’s mother.

And Ben Affleck is already proving himself to be part of the family as he was seen bonding with her children too. 

The 48-year-old actor was seen spending some quality time with the JLo’s 13-year-old twin children son Maximilian and daughter Emme during a family dinner at Nobu in Malibu on Sunday night.

No doubt Ben feels comfortable around her loved ones as they were reportedly there for JLo’s sister Linda’s 50th birthday. 

Outside of the restaurant, Ben seemed to have a blast with Jennifer’s kids as he was seen sharing a laugh with her daughter Emme before making their entrance.

He was also seen arm-in-arm with the 51-year-old Jennifer and even placed a loving hand on her back at one point.

After the family gathering, Ben walked alongside JLo’s son Max and even seemed to be pointing him in the right direction as the youngster looked exhausted.

The Argo star was also seen giving Jennifer’s younger sister and birthday celebrant, Linda, a hug before they hopped in a car together. 

During the dinner service, JLo’s twins came over to show she and Ben something on a smartphone.

Of their interactions during the event, a Nobu source for People said on Monday: ‘Ben and her kids seemed comfortable together. The kids kept chatting with Ben. Ben seemed great. He was smiling and laughing. They ordered a lot of food to share. Ben had a Diet Coke.’

JLo and ben couldn’t keep their lips off of one another during a family dinner as they packed on the PDA during steamy make out sessions.

Of the PDA-packed outing, the insider for People said: ‘Jen and Ben sat next to each other and were very affectionate. They held hands under the table.’

Affleck has been spending plenty of time with Lopez’s family as last week he was spotted filming a project with her mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, at the Wynn Las Vegas.

It seems as if he A-list actor already has the stamp of approval as a source told People on Saturday: ‘In the past, Jennifer’s mom and Ben were very close. Guadalupe loved Ben. She was sad when they couldn’t work things out years ago. 

‘She is thrilled that they are back together now.’

The source continued by saying: ‘Jennifer is very close with her mom. It’s very important to her that the person she is with, gets along with her mom.

‘Jennifer loves that Ben and Guadalupe hung out in Las Vegas. They both love gambling and had fun together at the Wynn hotel.’

Guadalupe is quite the gambling enthusiast as she even won a massive $2.4million jackpot in 2004 while her daughter Jennifer was still engaged to Ben.

Lopez recently rekindled her romance with former fiance Affleck, after calling off her engagement to MLB star Alex Rodriguez in April.

In September 2003, just days before the couple was to say ‘I do,’ they called off their wedding. Months later the couple broke up for good in January 2004.

Ben has to stay in LA to be close to the three children he has with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, nine. Weeks ago, Lopez was seen looking a couple of schools in Los Angeles for her twins. 

The outlet also reported that Ben and Jennifer are ‘discussing summer plans’ because they ‘love being together and the weekends away they had been spending together have really sealed the deal.’
