Ben Affleck cut a somber figure as he stepped out in Santa Monica, Los Angeles on Monday – hours after wife Jennifer Lopez appeared to snap at him at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

The actor, 50, whose disinterested facial expression at the awards saw him become an internet meme once again, failed to raise a smile as he strolled with an iced coffee and chatted to a friend.

The star wore a blue plaid shirt  and faded jeans as he walked in California, after a tense clip emerged of J-Lo, 53, sharing a terse exchange with him.

The sighting comes after J-Lo and Ben  got people talking once again after an eyebrow-raising clip captured the couple sharing an awkward moment at the 2023 Grammy awards.

The tense exchange begins with Ben whispering into JLo’s ear, only for her to jerk away and seemingly snap at him in response.

As JLo responds, Ben frowns, straightens up his vest and his posture before it eventually dawns on them it was all caught on camera. 

Their expressions turn blank as the realization sinks in. that their exchange was caught on camera, though it is unclear exactly what is being said.  

JLo’s strained face slowly transforms into one of interest as she turns her attention to host Trevor Noah, who was speaking into the camera just beside her.

Frosty faced JLo tried to cover up the moment, though her husband had a vacant expression throughout the evening. 

It is unclear exactly what was said in the exchange, but the singer and actress did not seem impressed with what Affleck said.
