Asked what happened between them, Narinder said: ‘It’s too much to go into. But, you know, friendships come, friendships go.’

The pair were friends for 20 years, but Narinder says, ‘it’s the way it is.’

Presenter Steph McGovern asked Narinder whether she’ll make up with Brian, to which Narinder replied, firmly: ‘No. I know people want us to make up, but we won’t be making up, no.’

Looking back at her time in the Big Brother house, Narinder said the reason she applied to be on the show was ‘to be famous’.

Asked what that fame was like, Narinder said: ‘It was hard, it was actually really difficult… You’re like a no one and then you become a household name.

‘You’ve got all the press and negativity that came with it, it was actually really hard. And, of course, I’m from the Asian community so that became an even bigger deal.’

Celebrity chef Simon Rimmer asked Narinder whether it’s harder for people on reality shows now because of the pressures of social media.

Narinder said: ‘Where they get trolled by social media, they also make money from social media. We were famous and poor, they’re famous and rich.

‘We made no money, they’re making money. I’d rather be famous and rich than famous and poor, which is what we were.’

Back in 2018, Narinder shared several tweets hitting out at Brian, claiming that he attempted to sever contact with her after 18 years of friendship.

Narinder claimed that following a furious argument with Brian, he refused to see her two children and sent a message to her husband accusing her of being the villain in the situation.

She wrote: ‘I’ll give you a tweet ..how’s this- Stalking my tweets for clues in reflection to your own vile and disgusting behaviour and desp clutching at straws to assuage your own guilt? That’s just a warm up ..and meant FOR ONCE to whom always thinks it is.

‘How cruel someone can be is astonishing…ESP after nearly 20 years of friendship.’

As fans began to question the star on what had happened, Narinder did not hold back in admitting that she was talking about Brian and went onto reveal that he had booted her from a pals holiday to Las Vegas, writing: ‘I was invited then uninvited. VILE behaviour by the bullies.’

When contacted by MailOnline a representative for Brian said: ‘Brian and Narinder stopped being friends a long time ago due to a variety of reasons. Unfortunately Narinder can’t accept this.

‘It’s always very sad when people feel the need to publicly air private disagreements.’

Replying to one fan who wondered what had happened to end the pair’s friendship after nearly two decades, Narinder hinted that his attempts to sever contact with her two children led to the fallout.

She added: ‘Tbh… I’ve never lost a mate in my life… I’m loyal to the end. He isn’t. He simple pulled away and went to where he needed to next… and again. He has hurt me but worse my kids. He entered their life and is their godfather and hasn’t seen them in over a year.’

In another tweet she wrote: ‘He avoids my kids… then sorry. You are the lowest of the low.’

As yet more fans began to enquire for Narinder and the finer details she went onto reveal: ‘There was a big row… I sent a v angry text… He can’t and won’t forgive it. Yet I was prepared does forgive all his wrongs. All v v stupid silly stuff tbh, But he didn’t need me anymore so it was his excuse out.’

The star added that Brian was denying he had done any wrong, tweeting: ‘Only yesterday my husband got a message denying Brian has done anything wrong. He does nothing wrong. Only me… by sending an angry text. He does nothing wrong. It’s incredible.

‘He just decided one day he didn’t want to be as close. Found new friends he needed and never saw me and the kids again. I kept asking. Then I send an angry an angry text (claims now he was coming with presents for the kids loll after me begging him to come).’

After thanking for fans for all their support after opening up about her friendship troubles, Narinder claimed at that time that she hadn’t spoken to her former BB housemate for six months.
