Brooklyn Beckham tucks into his dad's favourite pie and mash

Brooklyn Beckham tucks into his dad’s favourite pie and mash during tattoo session with his brothers… as he adds to his three-figure selection of inkings

His Leytonstone-born dad David’s love of pie and mash is well-known.

And Brooklyn Beckham proved the East End favourite is a hit for all the family, as he was seen tucking into a plate of food from Waltham Cross eatery Tony’s Traditional Pie & Eel House while getting tattooed last week.

Taking to Instagram, the celebrity offspring shared a snap showing him being inked by Certified Letter Boy, with his leg resting on a chair and food in his hand.

Brooklyn, 24, was tattooed alongside his brothers Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 18, with the trio having ‘Brotherhood’ etched on different parts of his body.

The aspiring chef has previously revealed he has over 100 tattoos – 70 of which are dedicated to his wife Nicola Peltz, including portraits of the beauty, an inking of their wedding vows and her name in various places.

East London boy at heart: His Leytonstone-born dad David’s love of pie and mash is well-known, with his favourite restaurant being Tony’s in Waltham Abbey

David has previously spoken about his unusual choice of favourite meal – as he shuns fancy feasts in favour of the low-key grub of his birthplace.

He said: ‘I’m all about the pie, mash and liquor. Liquor is traditionally stewed eels and parsley sauce; normally I’d go for double-pie, double-mash and extra liquor, lots of vinegar, lots of pepper and jellied eels.’

In their tattoo session, Brooklyn, opted to have his new tattoo on his leg above his dancing lady body art, while Romeo also had his on his leg above his eagle inking, while Cruz chose to have his on his hand.

London-based fine line tattoo artist Pablo, also known as Certified Letter Boy, took to his Instagram page on Friday to share some snaps of the intricate designs.

In the pictures, the boys could be standing with their arms draped on each other’s shoulders, while some photos displayed the new tattoos.

Cruz happily posed for a picture as Pablo went to work, with the teen jokingly wincing in pain as the needle met his hand.

As well as their matching ink, Romeo also got another tattoo during their trip to the parlour and took to Instagram to show off the result.

He shared a photograph of his back with a new quotation tattoo inked across his shoulder blade, as he follows in his father’s footsteps with his script tattoos.

Keeping it in the family: The Beckham brothers have marked the strong bond they share as siblings by getting matching tattoos

The quote, from the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, read: ‘Life is so short you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what someone thinks you can do versus knowing what you can do.’

Virgil, who made history as Louis Vuitton’s first black artistic director, died in November 2021 at the age of 41 following a secret years-long battle with cancer.

The Beckhams are no strangers to tattoos with Brooklyn and his retired footballer father David, 48, having an eye-popping 200 inkings between them.

Wannabe chef Brooklyn, who was no doubt inspired by his famous parent, showed off his vast collection during a sun-soaked trip in Saint Tropez with wife Nicola Peltz earlier this summer.

Since going under the needle first in 2017, self professed tattoo addict Brooklyn has over amassed 70 tributes to his heiress wife.

Meanwhile David, who debuted his first tattoo in 1999, has also paid tribute to mother of his children Victoria, 49, with his own intricately decorated physique.

Brooklyn’s tributes to Nicola are extensive, with her portrait on his upper arm and her eyes tattooed on the back of his neck as well as her name.

Far from just using her image, Brooklyn also has their wedding vows tattooed on his arm, with the romantic prose reading: ‘Nicola when you walked down the aisle you took my breath away you look so beautiful tonight and always.

‘Let me start by saying that words cannot even describe my love for you just looking at you I see my future and it feels like a dream.

‘You are my world and I continue to fall more in love with you every single day.’

The celebrity offspring pays tribute to his family in numerous inkings as well as his billionaire in-laws.

As well as cherubs for his siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper, he also sports a heart tribute to his fashion designer mother.

Brooklyn also sports the name ‘Buster’, his father’s nickname for him, as well as an anchor to honour England legend David.

He has also found room on his physique for his mother-in-law Claudia’s rosary beads.

Brooklyn has both his and his wife’s surnames scrawled on his stomach, after taking her name when they married.

Speaking about the choice, he said: ‘It was my idea because I wanted to honour her family’s last name as well, and you know I thought when we have kids, I think it’ll be so cute to have little Peltz-Beckham’s running about.’

Brooklyn had Gina’s prayer inked on his torso, with the words reading: ‘Focused in the present, sincere towards others and trusting in our self, know that you cannot fail.’

He also has DVBRCH inked above Gina’s prayer. The initials are those of his family – David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Brooklyn was living it up on the boat with his in-laws, where he launched himself into the water before indulging in a spot of water sports.

Speaking about his tattoos, the aspiring photographer and chef said: ‘They’re very addictive, especially when you love someone you just want to cover everywhere. I love her more than anything. I always try to make her happy. That’s all I do.’
