Buckcherry recently released a music video for their cover of Bryan Adams‘ superhit song “Summer of ’69.”
The cover version sees Josh Todd and company sticking to the core arrangement and presentation of the original but coming up with a harder glam-metal edge and a faster tempo.
The Tom Flynn-directed video, which was shot in Detroit and at Summerfest in Milwaukee, features live footage and vignettes of Buckcherry and captures a day in the life of a touring rock band.
Buckcherry included their version of “Summer of ’69” as a bonus cut on their tenth studio album, Vol. 10, which arrived on June 2.
“Summer of ’69” was originally released by Adams in 1984 as part of his Reckless album.
