Rock band Cage The Elephant‘s song “Social Cues,” from the album of the same name, rose from 3rd position to lead Billboard‘s Rock Airplay Chart dated October 26.
The album, which was released in April of this year, also produced the chart-topping “Ready to Let Go,” which ruled the chart for six weeks beginning in March.
As a result, Cage The Elephant have topped the chart with two singles from the same album for the first time in their 13-year-long career.
The band earned their fifth total Rock Airplay No. 1, tying Green Day for second-most No. 1s since the chart’s inception in 2009. The Foo Fighters lead with six.
With an upcoming tour beginning in December, the band has announced dates across North America and Europe through April of 2020.
