Céline is also mother to twins Nelson and Eddy, eight.
The singer is set to perform in London, Berlin, Paris and Manchester during her much vaunted European tour.
She is set to take to Hyde Park to perform at the British Summertime Festival in July.
On Thursday, the singer appeared on This Morning to talk about her beauty regime in a pre-recorded interview.
She said: ‘I sweat on stage, I think that is very important to keep brushes clean. Sometimes I wish I could sweat so much so people can see how hard I work!
‘You see Tina Turner sweating and Mariah with a handkerchief and I think, I wanna sweat, I’m working hard too you know! I wanna sweat!’
She added: ‘On stage, I don’t use water base make-up, I use oil based make-up. Because sometimes things may get emotional and I might cry. Water based, if I cry, it’s gonna streak but oil based it stays in place, so I can wipe it off.’
Speaking as a L’Oréal spokesperson, she said: ‘I use Excellence hair colour, it works really well. I was so glad they asked me, when I was a child, didn’t think I could be a voice, a face for L’Oréal. I can’t believe they asked me at 51 to be a spokesperson.’
Céline said that make-up is a luxury for her. She said: ‘I couldn’t afford at beginning to have make-up.
‘I watched make-up artists and I started to do their tricks and doing it myself. Even though sometimes I have 20 minutes to do my make-up, I just love to do it.’
She added: ‘Most of the pics from the past I’m like [shakes head] what did I think? Why did I do that? Who styles me? Me myself and I. not a good idea, never do that again!’
Meanwhile, in May, the icon led the way as famous names have penned open letters to the LGBTQ community to express support for Pride month.
‘I’ve always said that music is a language that has no barriers, and it’s also true that love is an emotion that has no barriers,’ wrote Celine in a heartfelt note.
The French-Canadian superstar added: ‘I hope and pray that our world will continue to better understand that acceptance and tolerance are virtues that we can never have enough of.’
